I am a previous ProAqua customer having purchased a portable water softener to use while camping. When shopping for a solution to remove solids from my water for auto and RV detailing, I was pleased to find the ProAqua made one. It did not disappoint. Quick and easy setup and TDS to ZERO. Washed several vehicles with zero water spots so far and I absolutely love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, the unit is not labeled properly
I would give it a 5 stars but the unit is mislabeled leading to some cussing , regretting my purchase and so on until I read the instructions. After hooking it up the way it is labeled by the arrows my ppm started at 250 and would not get below 50. I probably ran at least 30 gallons thru it with no change. I took a look at the instructions again and realized it was saying something different. Look at my photos you will see. The unit is labeled for the water to come in the right side and go out the left as the arrows show but the book shows the opposite with the water coming in the left and going out the right. I had to unscrew the plastic parts and swap them so the water would flow the proper direction and what do you know the ppm went to 0. Not sure what that’s all about but after getting the water flowing right it worked

This tank made my mobile detailing much faster and efficient. I went from a tds reading of close to 300 to 17. I no longer have to rush to dry vehicles to prevent water spots and frankly don’t need to dry at all I just let the Texas sun do the work.

Initial opinion after assembly is that is a high-quality unit, it does what it says and is well set up for car washing if you have no availability to DI/soft water. We are in a condo unit, and I stuck this in the corner of a garage to wash cars just outside my garage door. It has taken my super hard hose water to clean pure DI water that doesn't spot my car like crazy. Pretty happy if it can hold up for a while. I already bought a spare resin kit for it.
