For two of them, I've purchased fairly expensive Pioneer head units that support wireless CarPlay, the wiring harnesses, dash mounting kits, dashcam, memory card, hardwire kit - it quickly adds up to over $700 per car. Once installed, the screen is frequently in a rather low position that requires your eyes to be off the road too. This screen does all of that for a less than 1/8th of the price, with the small concessions of looking a little messier, not having auto dimming, and not using the car's speakers, which are all drawbacks you'd have when using a smartphone for driving around too. This sounds like I'm complaining about the unit, but these are literally my only gripes - this unit is absolutely fantastic and may be one of the best pieces of consumer electronics I've gotten this year. This screen kit comes with two different mounting solutions: a suction cup to mount on the windshield on an articulating arm, and an adhesive mount that glues onto your dash with a huge piece of 3M VHB tape, which is basically as permanent as screwing it into the dash. The adhesive is on a flexible pad that can contour to a curved dash surface - it looks really sturdy but I was concerned with it doing irreparable damage to the surface of the dash if it ever needed to be removed, so I opted for the suction cup, which is a little less stable but not unbearably so. The screen also comes with a rear-mounted dashcam that has a lens on a swivel that can be aimed to accommodate any angle changes you might have the screen mounted at. I was really pleasantly surprised that this screen's resolution, which looks like a high quality smartphone's display also comes with a 32gb memory card right out of the box, which many dashcams do not. I noticed that the store page description for this screen kind of implies that it records at 4K resolution, but it "only" does 2K, which is better than the 1080p of most cheaper dashcams. The screen was a breeze to set up, just connect via bluetooth from the phone to get the wireless CarPlay working, format the memory card, set up the DVR recording options in the menu and you're set. I honestly can't believe that this feature-packed screen is so cheap, I wouldn't have been surprised if this cost over $200. I purchased a hardwire kit to clean up the dangling wires and will probably upgrade the memory card to a larger capacity one, but both these are very optional. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this to modernize any older car!

Overall this unit is pretty decent. It has built in speakers in case the ones in your vehicle don’t work. It can bluetooth to your device which mirrors that device, so your maps, calls, and certain apps will function as it does on your device. The screen is huge and crystal clear, which is impressive. The camera has a clear picture, but I don’t know if it has night vision capabilities as I couldn’t use the camera function without a memory card.The wires are a bit long and can get in the way of your dash controls so you will need to find a way to button the cord and fasten it to the dash in a way that there isn’t so much excess.If it had pieces to secure the cord to the dash so its not just hanging there and a memory card or a way to use the camera without one, I’d give it five stars.

What a great budget option to have smartphone connectivity! I just love this! It was easy to pair with my phone and connects in tandem with my car. I can search a destination on my phone and it'll send confirmation directly to the touchscreen. It also automatically brings up my Spotify on the passenger side.If I receive a call or text, they show up on screen for voice replies etc. It even has a dash cam on the back for constant recording. I was surprised to see a micro SD card included! It's only 32Gb but that's plenty if you just need to grab recent footage.It includes all options of installation and connectivity. You can mount to the windshield using a suction cup arm or an adhesive rubber foot on the dashboard. It charges type-C and the cable provided uses a 12v DC outlet with a USB-a port built in. The 12v adapter includes a FM radio transmitter inside so you can connect audio that way or a direct line in with the mini jack cable.Tools are provided for installation.One notable downside to the device is the sound quality of the on board speaker is pretty bad but it's decently loud. If you don't have working audio in your car, you'll at least be able to hear music but it won't sound very good. For the vast majority of people though, this will probably be an irrelevant feature.Overall, I think this device is perfect for the features it offers and it's an affordable price.

Very disappointing.I got this through the Bolo Vines program, so didn't expect too much. I suppose it would be okay if I had a newer phone, but my Samsung Note 9 will not connect to Android Auto. Evidently a newer version of Android OS is needed.The main reason I got this was to have maps for my vehicle, and the best I can do is screen mirroring. It works, but it's not much better than just setting my phone on the dash and looking at that.

good build and good quality display. good imagine quality.the only downsides are the front facing dash cam is built into the unit, so if your dashboard is too long or tall, the cam cannot see far outside.the only glaring problem is the output, the audio output is only FM transmitted to the cars radio. there is no jack to connect to a cars aux port. so, you're very limited to audio quality.this would be ideal for older cars with no aux.
