I ordered this in the hopes I could restore function to one of them. The pump head handles both presta and schrader valves and supposedly is a universal fit for the pump hoses. I wasn't able to install it on one pump because the pump hose was too thick to fit through the hole in the screw-down lock ring. Oh well, on to the next pump, and bingo, it works! The lock lever cinched well on both schrader and presta valves, and allowed easy inflation. My one concern is that the lock lever is made of plastic and the old pump head died when the plastic lever broke where the hinge pin goes through. Hopefully this new head is sturdy and won't fail.At approximately $6, this is certainly cheaper than buying a whole new pump!
