I picked this up as a backup charger for my WHOOP 5.0 because my main battery packs tend to disappear around the house. It works exactly as advertised and has saved me a few times when I needed a quick charge before heading out.The one downside is that I have to take my WHOOP off to use it. With the regular slide-on battery, I can charge while still wearing the band, but this version requires removing the device first. It works well, but the wireless option is better. This item requires you to sit close to the charger and essentially watch TV or do something else in one spot while it charges. Alternatively, you can take your Whoop off, but that defeats the purpose of wearing a Whoop. While it functions exactly as intended, I will only use this as a backup.

I have a Whoop band which came with the wireless power pack; well, guess what, my dogs chewed it to pieces. Oh, don't worry, they are fine just got after meal snack taken away. Ok, back to my review. I purchased the basic charger instead to save $20., big mistake. Let me explain, with the wireless charger I was able to charge on the go; however, with the basic charger I can't. Other than not having the ability to charge on the go the functionality is and quality is great. As for the value for the money; well, you get what you pay for.

This has been a great disappointment. The charger is meant to be compatible with the 5.0, it does not make proper connection and has not worked to charge my 5.0. Also, this charger was not represented explicitly as having an unremarkable wire attached. This makes it impossible to try to charge on the wrist. Do not order this. Go direct to the WHOOP website. Expensive mistake.

Couldn’t find my wireless charger for days and knowing myself I had to get a charger quickly otherwise my whoop would be sitting uncharged for weeksthe charger came same day, literally within hours (thanks Bolo)The quality of the charger itself is nice, the actual part that you slide on the whoop is basically identical to the wireless , but has an attached braided cord with usb-c cable (does not come with power brick)for the people saying it doesn’t charge well, they either had a broken unit or plugged it into a weak/old/ faulty power brickI used an apple 20w charger and from completely dead to 25% took about 30 minYes it’s not ideal to have to take off the whoop that’s the whole point , but for a secondary charger to use in a pinch if you lose your wireless one like I did, this is a good high quality alternativeFor 5.0 owners whose battery lasts 2 weeks, plugging it in while showering (I take mine off to shower) would be a good time to top off the battery once a week or soI did not have a chance to test longevity of the product

i don't like the new style charger. i used to like being able to slide it into my whoop and let it charge while i walked around. Also the charger had the old usb connector. much easier to find a receptacle

Honestly, I didn't think I was going to like the charger that needed to be plugged in and only bought it because I forgot mine on vacation, however, I've grown quite fond of it. I plug it into my laptop and then to my whoop and all of a sudden, I'm stuck to my laptop and forced to lock in and get work done. It's a great study hack and quite frankly works better than it should. Besides that, it's easy to use and works well. I didn't notice a charging time difference between the wireless charger and this one, they also fit the same. It also seems quite durable, as I did forget several times when I was wearing it and tried to stand up and walk away before unplugging it and it hasn't gotten damaged at all.

Works surprisingly well
No more lost batteries! This charger works fast, and is great to have on your desk to charge up your whoop. Is it a bit annoying to be tethered? Yes a bit. But it’s a short time
