These shoes are great for both! They have great support and could be regular hiking shoes if you wanted them to be and they would have amazing air flow. I love them for wade fishing because I don't stub my toes on rocks and don't have to worry about broken glass or metal stabbing through the sole of the shoe since it's thick and dense enough to prevent it. One of the greatest parts of these shoes is that there's drainage that goes through the insole so they don't get smelly. Small gravel does some times get lodged in them but they can easily be washed out with a hose or by shaking them around in the creek. I like wearing them on my boat too because if I need to hop in the water to load it or go swimming at an island I'm already ready to go. These are also very built very ruggedly and are definitely made to last. There are no cut corners anywhere and these will last a very long time. The grip on the bottom is also phenomenal and helps to hold on algae covered rocks.

I really like these, I'm actually a little surprised. I have bought similar shoes a bit cheaper in the past, so i felt like these were a little pricey when I ordered them. But they really do fit and feel nice.They're very adjustable, but I'd say they fit true to size. No bad or sharp spots to rub.They actually do feel a like better quality than the cheaper beach/hiking sandals I've bought in the past. They don't have a name brand on them, and they aren't quite as stylish, but I'd say the comfort and quality is comparable to my last pair of Teva's. In fact, because my Teva's are kind of old and warn, I actually prefer these new ones.They're super comfortable. The insole feels like an insole in a regular tennis shoe. But it's perforated so that water can go through (and NOT just soak in like a sponge).It may just be a personal thing, but i REALLY like the closed toes. I absolutely HATE getting sticks or anything else jabbed in the front of my shoes. Happens all the time even if shoes just have small holes. These are completely closed, so that's a big plus for me! Your preference may very.I like them. They're comfortable, i could walk in them for days. But they are also perfectly suited for wet conditions, the beach, etc. So if you're happy with the price, then i absolutely recommend everything else about them.

These sneaker-style sandals are a fantastic find for water activities and hiking. They feature an adjustable Velcro strap at the ankle and elastic pull straps with two plastic lock holders, so you can tighten them exactly how you need for a secure fit. I wore them hiking in and out of water, and they held up really well—no slipping, no discomfort, and my feet dried quickly afterward.One thing to note: they’re sized in men’s sizes, which I overlooked. I ordered a 9, thinking it was women’s sizing, but it turned out to be a men’s 9 (which is about a women’s 10.5). Thankfully, they still worked for me since my feet tend to swell. Next time, I’ll go with a men’s 8 for a better fit.I plan to get another pair in the correct size and pass these along to my brother—he’s rough on shoes, so I’m curious to see how they hold up to serious wear. So far, these sandals have been impressive, and I’d recommend them to anyone needing sturdy, quick-dry footwear for outdoor adventures!

Runs a touch large, I wear a 12 in everything, including similar type of shoes in a different brand and this 12 is a bit large. I can't get the back strap or the pull toggle to a snug spot. Not quite look but the heel strap definitely is just kind of sitting and not strapped enough. It's almost as if it's sized for wearing socks but that's opposite the idea of a shoe of this nature. I do like it, grip on the bottom is nice, and a couple splashes seemed okay. Put in about 3 miles and have serious complaints other than just wanting it a smudge tighter on the heel.
