I really like the Bolo Studio show, The Summer I Turned Pretty, but this is a weird collab. Ideally you would order this for a watch party, where people who like one love interest the most would choose sour (Sour Patch Kids) and people who like the other love interest more would choose sweet (Swedish Fish). The only marketing or branding is on the outside of the box, so when opened so that people can take a candy it doesn't have any branding for the show on it, it's just kind of a weird low effort collab. BUT I will say, these are full size bags of candy that are the freshest I have EVER had. I didn't realize how stale the last Swedish Fish were that I bought until I tried these ones that are so fresh they practically melt in your mouth. This would be fun for like a slumber party where the girls were going to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty, but otherwise, I don't really understand the product.

What's not to like about these classic candies that stand the test of time? Nothing! I love the sour patch kids and my toddler loves the swedish fish. I like when "treats" are in some sort of small bag because it prevents me from eating the entire supersize bag!But I have to say one of the things I loved were the images from "The Summer I Turned Pretty". It made me laugh because I'm a grown adult but I love the show and haven't seen the end of it yet so I have no idea who she ends up with. I digress.For those of you here for the candy - these are fresh packs, very generous size... Perfect item that will not melt or go bad to throw in the car for impromptu trips to the park or the movies. Yum!

I recently received this Variety Pack. I mean, Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish are a very well-known duo in the candy world, and I personally love both. This box delivered exactly what I expected in terms of quantity, containing 10 mini 2 oz bags of each candy.However, I need to make a note for anyone specifically buying this for its connection to "The Summer I Turned Pretty" movie: there is absolutely nothing on the individual candy bags themselves that references the movie. The only thing marketed towards the movie is the outer box they come in. So, if you're hoping for themed packaging on the snack packs, you'll be disappointed.Despite the minimal movie tie-in on the individual bags, the candy itself is the classic, delicious Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish that fans know and love.
