Unboxing it was kind of like a puzzle, but nothing too crazy. Once I put it together, my baby was instantly interested. Like way longer than the usual 2 minutes of attention. The play gym feels really solid. No wobbling or cheap plastic vibes. The different parts and textures actually keep my baby busy, which is a miracle. The sensory strands? Yep, baby tried to put those in their mouth right away. Luckily, they’re safe so no freak out needed. If you want something that actually keeps baby entertained and isn’t junk, I’d say this is a solid pick. It gave me a few extra minutes of peace and made playtime a bit easier.

The loverly play gym is intelligently designed. It will last a solid year of development, and grows with your baby. The colors and contrasts are purposely chosen to increase your babies engagement. I am pregnant now, so I haven’t used it myself yet — but I loaned it to my friend and her baby loves it. It keeps him entertained for a good hour while she’s cooking or cleaning nearby. Overall, it’s expensive—but it’s one of those things where you get what you pay for and the quality is top notch.
