My son put it together for me and he didn't have any problems. Although he also has an e-bike and convinced me to buy one.The bike is very sturdy and provides for a smooth ride. It weighs 63lbs so it's a bit heavy to lift onto a hitch if you're someone like me without a lot of upper body strength. I consider the weight a plus overall because it does make the ride smooth and comfortable. I changed the seat and will update the dinky little light and reflectors.The styling is very nice. I'm short at 5'3" so I appreciate the step-thru design and I like the color options and I appreciate the inline battery which centers the weight of the ride. I chose blue and I really like it. I'm NOT a fan of the HUGE lettering of "FUNHANG" on the frame and I thought it might be stenciled so I could remove it but its really painted on so I'm stuck with it unless I paint over the entire bike. It'd be better if it was a cool stylish logo rather than big lettering on the bike.Riding; The operation is smooth and easy to operate. There is some inconsistency with pedal-assist to full throttle but it doesn't really detract from the full experience considering the price and affordability. I also really like the cruise-control option. The torque is INSANE! It really takes off in an instant which is SO MUCH FUN!. I tested the speed at full throttle and it reliably comes to 21.4 mph which is perfect for my needs. Not to fast to be a danger but it gets me around quite nimbly and efficiently. The brakes operate efficiently and the suspension really makes it a comfortable experience.The battery seems to last a long time. I first tested it on one of the flat local trails and rode it for about 8 miles out and then back. I lost only one bar. But later on a more variable terrain with hills for 11 miles and back I lost almost 3 bars. So, depending on the terrain, your desired speed, weight, etc. it still appears to be a reliable commuting experience.I would recommend it for the affordability and overall riding experience. I honestly felt like a kid again and its become my newest favorite toy.

I’ve been riding the Funhang electric bike for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed. The motor gives plenty of power for hills and quick commutes, and I love how smooth it rides. The removable battery is super convenient—and it only takes a few hours to recharge.Assembly was quick and easy, and the overall build quality feels solid. The Shimano gears shift smoothly, and the adjustable seat and handlebars make it comfortable for longer rides. I also really like the safety features like the LED headlight, electric horn, and very responsive disc brakes.For the price, it’s an awesome value. Whether you’re commuting or just cruising around town, this bike delivers. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first personal e-bike. I always thought, riding a regular bike is the right way to get my exercise. It gives an excellent cardio benefit. I’ve been refusing to get e-bike for the longest for that reason.Now, after owning this e-bike for a bit over 2 months; I can say, riding an e-bike can still give me a solid workout. Yes, when I’m too tired, the pedal assist gives me minimal to effortless cruising. This e-bike has powerful motor. The battery life is long. I mostly use this in short rides, but I ride quite frequently. I charged daily as I don’t want the battery low when I need it. 1 thing I noticed, the battery gets a bit hot during longer ride. With that, I waited for it to cool down before charging it.The design is ergonomic. The tires are wide. The grips and the seat are surprisingly comfortable as well. The brake is strong, smooth and consistent, ensuring safe and immediate stopping. Then, the lights, the LCD design, and the horn provide safety during my ride.I’m 5’2” and this bike is excellent size for me. The frame is not too tall nor too short. All in all, since I’m switching to this e-bike, exercise has become more fun and flexible. As recreational rider, getting this e-bike totally worth the price. Oh, forgot to mention, the set up was a breeze. It’s pretty straightforward and easy! Zero regrets here. More adventures to come, I guess.

This is a really nice bike, except for the plastic fenders. It is made out of quality material and rides very well. I did pay a handy man to put the bike together for me and their video for setup is 5 stars. Very easy to follow. As with most, I changed the seat out for a more comfortable ride. I had to contact the seller regarding the mileage. They advertise up to 50 miles per charge. That is not a true description. I rode my bike in pedal assist - 1 and maintained a 15 mph speed. The battery only allowed for me to reach a little over 25 miles. I won't return the bike, but I would not have bought it if I had known it would only allow me to ride for 25 miles on a single charge.I do give kudos to the customer service; they responded very quickly and gave me many suggestions on how to reach the most mileage possible, which in my case is only 25 miles per charge but I did appreciate them responding back to me.If you are looking for a good price in an ebike and the 25 miles per charge is not a tie breaker, it's a great value for the price.
