I recently started using the AEJESOP Karela Powder, and wow, the bitterness is absolutely no joke – it's a real wake-up call for your taste buds! I'm definitely not sipping this mixed just with water; blending it into a smoothie with strong flavors is the only way I can manage it daily. My main motivation for trying it was hearing about the potential benefits for digestion and blood sugar. It's certainly a challenge to get down, but I'm hoping the health perks will make sticking with it worthwhile.

This is my first time using Karela powder so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I have done some reading and learned that bitter herbs can potentially be beneficial for digestion and blood sugar management so I wanted to give it a try. It doesn’t smell very good and it does have a bitter flavor as it should. It has more of a golden color to it (rather than green) and it is finely ground and easy to add to smoothies, so that is how I am using it so I can mask the bitterness. I recommend using smaller amounts at first until you determine how much you like in your smoothies before it tastes too bitter. It does come in a nice, resealable standup bag for easy storage and freshness.
