Great quality
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great with a PC, but the buttons are a tad bit small
This wired Xbox style controller is a great deal if you are looking for a controller that will work well with PCs. I own multiple of these controllers and they all work great on the PC. I prefer the wired connection so that there are no problems with connecting using bluetooth. The joysticks work great and the buttons don't stick, though the buttons are a tad bit smaller than normal Xbox buttons. Also the D-pad doesn't move diagonally perfectly, but it should suffice for most gamers. The L and R triggers are probably the worst buttons... you can tell that they are cheap and slow to respond. Overall though, for less than $15 I think this is a great deal and I recommend it to anyone who needs an extra controller that works great with the Xbox and PC.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad.
First you take it out of the package and unwind the cable. The cable has some memory but not too bad. The rubber is supple, not hard and plasticky. A nice cord. The d-pad is very responsive but a little firm. Maybe it will loosen up. This D-pad can actually be pressed STRAIGHT DOWN. This is a possible issue because it means you might be able to actuate both the UP and DOWN buttons or the LEFT AND RIGHT buttons at the same time by accident. This is not what you want in an action game. In a non-action RPG it's no issue. In either case, it makes it at least probable that you will occasionally hit the opposite direction from what you intended. I played a bunch of older racing games with it and used the D-pad for steering and did not encounter an issue with it. -1 star for this. I mostly play PC games with the D-pad.The shoulder buttons are clicky, which I love. Very responsive. The Start and Select buttons are very soft. They work fine and you don't use them much so that's fine but it's inconsistent with the rest of the buttons. The ABXY buttons are in-between. Not clicky, not soft. Still very responsive. I don't play any games that use the trigger buttons in an analog way so I am unable to review and report on that. But as a singular button, the triggers work fine. It just don't make sense to use them that way because of the long travel. These buttons seem smaller than the ones on my other controllers. Not sure how I feel about that, but it seems like I can get my thumb across the entire quartet at once and reach each button more easily. That's subjective, but I think I like it.And then the analog sticks. I like the way the motion feels, I like the caps (rubbery, grippy, indented, with some lugs for grip and haptic indexing), and I like the range of motion. If you "drop" them hard, they return to center quickly and do not "bounce"... at all! Very nice. The controller shape is just like any XBox controller, meaning it makes my fists cramp up. Not their fault. It's just what XBox does.It has that familiar goofy X-Box plug at the bottom. I still don't know what that thing is, what it's for or how to use it. So this is also untested. The whole thing plugged in and just worked. No drivers, no configuration, no calibration, no apps. Just how I like it. The XBox button even works. It integrates with the XBox system on my PC and pulls up STEAM in full screen mode (which I hate). I'll see if I can configure how this behaves. But I bet other folks would really like this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Controller
I have been using the NBCP wired game controller on both Xbox 360 and PC and it holds up exceptionally well even under heavy use. I am hard on controllers and this non-OEM option feels rugged and reliable. The textured grips provide excellent control during long gaming sessions and the buttons remain responsive with no lag.Setup was effortless—just plug into the USB port and the controller is recognized instantly on Windows 10 and Xbox 360 Slim. The dual vibration motors deliver satisfying feedback without being overly intense. The 1.8 meter cable gives plenty of slack so I can sit comfortably away from my screen without tension on the cord.Product quality stands out for the price point. The ABS housing resists scratches and the molded cable strain relief prevents fraying at the connector. The analog sticks and triggers have just the right amount of resistance and don’t feel loose over time.Reason for 5-Star RatingReliable build quality that withstands rough handlingPlug-and-play compatibility with Xbox 360 and PCComfortable ergonomic design with textured gripsDual vibration feedback enhances immersionLong durable cable and solid connector construction
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Wired PC Controller - Over 40 Hours of Solid Gameplay
I put this controller through over 40 hours of testing across games like Fallout 4, Rocket League, and Stardew Valley. Right from the get-go, it offered a flawless plug-and-play experience—no lag, no drifting, and no fussing around with setup. It works seamlessly with modern operating systems like Windows 11. All in all, it's a fantastic controller that delivers excellent performance at a great value.
5.0 out of 5 stars Form and Function are on Point
I use wired Xbox controllers for specific PC gaming titles. I’ve heard that the original wired Xbox controllers are getting harder to locate these days. If that is true, then this product is the perfect solution and alternative.Pros:Full and complete compatibility with Windows10 and 11.The feel in the hand is spot on.The button locations are exactly spaced and in the expected positions. The buttons have the perfect tactile feel. The buttons have the expected illumination.I use extenders on the thumbsticks. The extenders provide a better feel and a longer throw. The extenders fit perfectly on the sticks.Cons:The wired cable is 6-feet long. The original wired Xbox controller is perhaps twice the length of this product. But, as I use the controller sitting at my desk, the 6-foot length is not an issue.
