Bakuchiol with a touch of retinol in an oil formula? That definitely caught my attention. I have sensitive skin and rosacea, so I’m always on the lookout for something that gives retinoid-like benefits without the harsh side effects; and this fits the bill.I’ve been using the bakuchiol oil in rotation with my prescription tretinoin, alternating every other night. For me, it’s kind of a symbiotic relationship - Tretinoin works deep, and this oil follows up with hydration and calming. It’s formulated with 0.9% bakuchiol and 0.1% retinol, which makes it gentle enough for my skin but still effective.The texture is lightweight, kind of like a dry hair oil, so it’s not greasy but still gives a nice glow. It absorbs well and layers easily with the rest of my routine. I haven’t had any irritation or peeling, which is huge for me.So far, I really like it. It keeps my skin balanced and hydrated on non-tretinoin nights and helps reduce any irritation. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a gentler alternative or complement to stronger actives.

This HEIMISH RX 2% Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum - Moisturizing Serum for face, Facial Serum for Sensitive skin is very effective for me. I've sensitive skin, so whenever I try new products, I will do a test spot first, no irritation and I proceeded to use it. I've dry skin and I adhere to my daily facial routine by washing with water and then applying face cream to keep from dryness. In the evening, after I remove my makeup, I will wash with mild face soap and followed by skin cream and now this 2% Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum, it helped my skin to be s-m-o-o-t-h. I use this Hyaluronic Serum like 3 times a week. That's all I need. Loving the results.

This formulation really reminds me of The Ordinary peeling solution. But I feel like this one is slightly less irritating than the ordinary one. I leave it on for 10 min once a week, when my skin is looking dull and rough. It leaves my skin glowing. However this is NOT for sensitive skin. and if you leave it on for a little too long, you will have red irritated skin. I highly recommend finishing off with a cream that has ceramides to rebuild your skin barrier.

The smell of this serum literally made me wonder if I had grabbed the wrong product and it was men's cologne! It was surprisingly strong. Luckily, it did dissipate within a couple minutes after applying. However, if you're really sensitive to scents, this may not be the one for you.It did have a bit of a sticky texture on its own, but I applied moisturizer after and that resolved the issue. It left my dry skin with a lovely glow. I appreciate that this serum has Vitamin C and Niacinamide together, and that the bottle is darkly tinted to protect the Vitamin C. Once I got past the smell, I enjoyed using this and look forward to seeing some long-term results! I LOVE that this is both vegan and cruelty free, which is a must for me!

This acid peeling serum is very similar to the comparable product from a certain ordinary US based brand. It comes in a glass dropper top bottle. It has a light, slightly medicinal scent. It applies easily to the skin and provides effective chemical exfoliation. I typically wear it for less than the recommended time (about 3 minutes), as that's what has given the best results for my normal, generally nonsensitive skin in the past.For most people, myself included, a slight tingling sensation is not uncommon. As with any acid peel, make sure to follow up with a quality moisturizer and to avoid sun exposure or additional exfoliants/irritants immediately after use.I use it at night a few times per month, and it helps to maintain even skin texture and tone without causing dryness or flaking.

Not going to like…this peeling serum looks and sounds intimidating. It is literally blood red in color and promises to peel dead skin off of your face. I’m glad I tried it because this stuff is great!I was worried it would stain my skin red. It does not. Only a couple of drops are needed and it becomes colorless and clear once it spreads out on the skin. I was afraid it would burn or sting. It does not. It is surprisingly gentle to be so effective. Consistency is very light, thin and water like. It’s easy to spread and not sticky. It a minimal fragrance.I have maturing skin so dryness and dullness are becoming issues. I research a lot of skin care ingredients and I like the ingredients that this product contains. I use it exactly as instructed by doing the “dry skin wait and rinse” method two times a week and then using the “daily one drop water splash” method the rest of the week. My skin is noticeably brighter. Excellent, potent product. I recommend it!
