Was skeptical of this product, as I'm sure many others were and possibly are about using something that cuts this close on their face, especially from a unfamiliar brand. That said, I shared these sentiments, but decided to take a chance based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews here. Yes, the name is obscure, however the shaver is of considerable quality. The materials and build quality do not feel cheap at all and the digital display is a wonderfully disruptive feature that provides a very accurate time estimate of remaining charge, as well as confirmation when you've locked out the button for travel. The cut it close and it achieves the shave I'm looking for each time comfortably especially when I let the hair grow for a couple of weeks. I don't use the pop up trimmer because I leave that to my Andis, but it is useful. I'm not a shave while wet type of person either, but I'm convinced it would do that well also. The blades under operation are not noisy at all. It produces a pleasant hum that's easy to live with. Overall a unbelievable value! Would gift this in a heartbeat, but I'd hold my breath for the reaction to the the name branding! ROFL

Ergonomics are great. Spouse approves of the shave quality. I like the LED indicator. Wicked easy to pop the head open to rinse and clean. Lock-out feature is very nice. Only thing I will zing it on is the charging cord. I thought it would be the typical cord you would use for a phone, but the one end is completely different. If I would have known, I may not have made the purchase. I dislike having to pack an assortment of charging cords. Good deal for the money though.

I bought this shaver, and I was really surprised at how well it works. The design is modern and lightweight, very easy to handle. The battery lasts a long time and fast charging via USB is a great plus, as in a few minutes it is ready to be used.Shaving is comfortable and soft, even on sensitive skin. It works perfectly both dry and wet, which makes it very practical for use in the shower. The rotating blades are well suited to the contour of the face and leave a clean finish without irritation.Another detail that I liked is the digital screen that shows the remaining time of use, so I never stay halfway. In addition, the deployable trimmer is ideal for shaping the beard or mustache.

I've been a rotary shaver user for many years and have always bought Norelco. I was hesitant to buy this one but for the price and the reviews, I couldn't resist. It shaves closer than my Norelco at one fifth the price. It's a real value for the money. It has great battery life and cleans up easily. I only have two complaints, the pop up trimmer is a little short and the usb cable that comes with it is proprietary. The cable has a normal usb on one end and a molded plastic plug thing on the other end.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It cuts, but I wouldn’t compare it to the smoothness u would get with a standard razor u could get for a couple dollars at a store. I wouldn’t say the cleaning process is that complicated, however the first time I tried to detach the top piece to clean it, it would not come back together and in the process I did seem to break a piece off which now I totally can’t use it. which could be on me. The advertise u can use dry or wet but I don’t think it’s very effective wet. I also think it’s easier to get burns with this versus a regular razor as well.

This electric shaver is a great unit especially for traveling with it sleek design ans a built in pop up trimmer. It can be used wet or dry, is rechargeable and hold a 60 minute shave time allowing for several shaves before it needs to be charged again. It glides over the skin smoothly provideing a clean smooth shave that is easy on sensitive skin. It also keep track of the time left on the display in the handle letting you know when it's time to charge up again. It very easy to use right out of the box and just as easy to clean. This is a great little shaver at a great value, thank you SHPAVVER.

This is an excellent shaver and it sure didn’t cost that much. I’ve always bought another brand that cost quite a bit more and so this price was just right and I thought we’ll all chance it,and I bought it for my husband and he loves it. it does a terrific job ,very pleased. He says it shaves good and it’s comfortable and it’s not too noisy so he’s just really happy with it.

No problems with it so far. Used only to do my neck and under my chin as I have a beard covering the rest of my lower face. Actually performed better than I expected for an electric shaver, purchased because of minor surgery in the area prevented me using a blade.
