It's very soft and my little Maltipoo likes it. I love that all of the ingredients are healthy and that real food provides all of his vitamins and minerals without any synthetic vitamins added. He had dental surgery so this is perfect because it's soft and easy to crumble & hydrate to make it easier for him to eat. He hasn't had any digestive issues with it. I do give him one Proviable Probiotic once a day and organic pure pumpkin with each meal.He loves the crunchy version more but he can't have that for a while. I was using the crunchy version for meals & treats too. They were perfect for his treat balls which he loved pushing around and eating it as it fell out. The crunchy nuggets are about the size of kibble for small dogs. I thought the soft food would be similar in size to the crunchy version but they're larger about 1 inch long & 1/2 inch thick so I can't use it in his treat ball.I will continue to buy both the soft and crunchy versions for variety once he has healed from his dental surgery. Hope this helps someone if you're trying to decide on a healthy food.

Our dog is soooooo picky and has tons of allergies. Not allergic to pork and we use this as a topper on his lamb and duck food. He LOVES it.

LOVE the product. My guys gobble it up. We also get the beef blocks to accompany this product.Do not expect the shipping to arrive on time. Bolo will say it’s available next morning. NOT TRUE!!! It always takes longer. Very annoying. Take the “ points” for the longer ship date and be done with it.

Soft and easy to crush. I use a couple of these per dog to enhance their diet food. Lower fat so doesn't wreak their diet and stools remain normal. Keeping our senior (13 yo) eating well. The pork and the duck are lower fat. They love them both. I've always love Vital Essentials but most aren't easy to crumble. These are perfect for the job.

This product is worth every star and the money we spend each month for the subscription! Our 6yr old Husky and 1 yr old Tortoise Kitten love these nuggets! The smell drives them to steal from each other’s bowls! We love Vital Essentials and recommend there products to anyone who has a dog or cat Furbaby.The whole prey protein is seriously what sold us and it’s not the ground up nasty parts you wonder about when you read their ingredients! Our Furbabies love the taste and act like they are getting a treat when the bag comes out for dinner. This size bag works really well for us to use as a topper, but if it did come in a larger size we would subscribe to that also.Don’t hesitate on this purchase because you will know right away that you are giving your pets a meal that is top shelf!
