I love to spread it on my sandwich, which I usually have turkey, very delicious, and a thin spread is just perfect. It is definitely more sweet than spicy, but I truly enjoy it during the summertime. Great value overall, the size is not too small, but reasonable for the price.

I love mango chutney. I have tried a lot of different brands but none previously were as good as my favorite brand which is Pataks. I usually buy multiples when I buy it. This is really good and is just as good as my favorite. I would definitely get these again. The price is a little bit more than I would want to pay though. As I can buy the other brand for less than half the current price of this.

This mango chutney has a deliciously sweet and tangy flavor that isn't too spicy but is very interesting and pairs with Indian foods of all kinds perfectly. I love adding it to my usual chicken curry recipe. It tastes really fresh and authentic without overpowering the original flavor of the dish. It's got a nice texture, thick but mixes easily into my curry, and I intend to empty the jar pretty quickly.

LOVED this spicy chutney although we did not find it to be spicy at all. Level of spice/heat is subjective though. What one person says is very spicy. The next person may think is not spicy at all. That is not a reflection of the product. That is a personal preference.We used this with cream cheese and crackers. We also used it spread on warm tortillas. Both were good options.The box makes the product giftable in my opinion. I do not typically like to order products online and send directly to the recipient. Presentation is important to me when giftgiving and I never know what the packaging will look like. This product came in very nice packaging.Do you wish it would have slightly less sodium content though.

This is so yummy! The mango chutney is delicious and I like to add a tablespoon or two to a stir fry or curry or other asian/indian dishes. I always love a mango one but this one is my favorite since it is sweet but also has that extra spice to it!

TAJ Hot Mango Chutney is a thick chutney with noticeable pieces of diced mango scattered throughout. The chutney has distinct notes of sweet, mildly hot, salty, savory, and tangy flavor notes. I paired it with Mini Chicken Samosas and found that it was a delicious complimenting flavor. I liked that there was texture that I could bite through and chew. I was hoping that the spice would be hotter but sadly it was not. We plan to use it as an accompaniment to grilled chicken next. The ingredients include sugar, mango, water, ginger powder, garlic powder, red chili powder, acidity regulators (citric acid, acetic acid), stabilizer (xanthan gum), and preservative (sodium benzoate). There are 15 servings per bottle with each 1 tablespoon serving containing 40 Calories, 2g Total Fat, 3g Total Carbohydrate, and 0g Protein. It is a Product of India. The product that I received l has a best by date of 30 months from the date that I received it. The bottle was securely sandwiched within a specially cut block of Styrofoam prior to being placed in a manufacturer box which protected it in transit. This is a delicious chutney and my family enjoyed it so much that we are now going to look for other foods from Taj Gourmet Foods.

I really love this TAJ Hot Mango Chutney! Sweet with just a little bit of heat - I can barely handle any heat and this is great - really good flavor and texture. I really like spicy chutneys, but this one disappointed me. I don’t like that the ingredients have fillers and preservatives listed, and it tastes one note, sweet and some sour, but no flavor or spice. You can really taste the gum base additives. This would probably be good as a base for making a barbecue sauce. It is just way too sweet and no flavor and absolutely not spicy, my 7 year old even said it had no heat.
