This little waffle maker is a compact addition to the kitchen, especially if you're short on space or just want a quick and easy breakfast. I like the bright red color, and it heats up fast - the indicator light tells you when you're ready to start pouring. I like that it's easy to clean - it’s a really fun way to make mini waffles! It's not going to replace a full-sized waffle maker, but it's a cute little gadget for individual portions or small families.

Edit: 80 waffle update - the non-stick coating is now quite sticky. The waffles are now tearing apart in the middle unfortunately. I've only used wooden chopsticks to get the waffles out, the coating is perfectly intact and unmarred. Adding some oil to the surface helps, but that's tedious for every waffle.This thing is definitely mini. And it makes waffles. The downside to this is that it is very lightweight, so as the waffle mix rises, it pushes the top up which undercooks the edges of the exposed waffle. Usually the weight of the waffle plates on larger machines can adequately press down on the waffle, but this is super light. To counteract that, I pinch the edges closed for a bit and don't over fill. The non-stick ceramic coating worked well, hopefully it holds up. If you've got limited storage space or only need a few waffles, this works, but at 4-5 minutes per waffle, this is really slow going, but it's also easy to multi-task around making waffles with this. Since I make waffles to freeze, this works for me. If you're feeding a family, I'd consider something else.On the plus side, this is ETL certified.

It is quick to heat up and has a nice design, but unfortunately this doesn't seem to be able to make proper crispy waffles. It does not matter how long you cook the waffle as it seems the power indicator monitor stops at a too low temperature to accurately cook a waffle. You more get a soft pancake that looks like a waffle no matter long you cook the waffle for.

From my wife:I love this waffle maker and so does my family!! The size if familiar, and the cook time quick. I can crank these out in a jiffy and then, leggo!! Cleans up easily. I really like it!! I can make all kinds of yummy treats!

First off, there is one major problem with this. It doesn't get as hot as a waffle maker should. What that means is it's almost impossible to make crispy waffles. In other words, you are generally going to end up with waffles with the consistency of pancakes. Do you like your waffles soft and kind of soggy? Then you'll love this. If you like your waffles crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and then you aren't going to be so thrilled with this.It does heat up quickly. At least as far as it does heat up. It cooks a waffle about as far as it will cook it fairly quickly as well. The problem is that if you want it to actually crisp a waffle, it takes about 10 minutes or more. I tried 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 6 minutes and even a bit more and all it gave me was a soft waffle. I finally got annoyed with the last bit of waffle batter I had, and I just put it in the machine, and left the room. I came back at least 10 minutes later, and I thought the waffle might actually be burnt, but it wasn't. At that point the waffle actually was crispy. It took that long to give the point where if you picked it up it didn't immediately flop over or even break. So it is possible to make a crispy waffle, but it takes forever.Honestly if this thing got maybe 150° hotter, it would be great. I noticed something was not quite right when the waffle really didn't release any steam as it was cooking. If you ever made waffles on a waffle maker, you know what I'm talking about. Typically, with a waffle maker, when the steam stops, the waffle is done. This barely made any steam at all. I thought maybe there was something wrong with a waffle mix I was using, so I tried another with the same results. I got out a different waffle maker, and use the exact same batch to make a waffle on it, and it came out just fine. So it is definitely this that is causing the problem.It is tiny. It can easily fit in a small drawer in your kitchen. It would be perfect for a little apartment or a college dorm. If you like your waffle soft and kind of soggy, then there will be no problem here. If you want your waffles to be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, you are going to be waiting a while.Like I said it is very nonstick. That does mean cleaning it is quite easy. The plates aren't easily removable though. They can be removed, but you need a screwdriver.

The Premius Ceramic Nonstick Mini Waffle Maker is a great little gadget for when you just need a few waffles. Its compact size makes it easy to store and ideal for smaller kitchens, dorms, RVs, or a quick breakfast. I did notice that it takes a little bit longer to cook than larger waffle makers I've had in the past, but the nonstick surface works wonderfully.If you're hosting a big group, this might be a bit too small, since it's really designed for smaller portions. But for individuals or couples, it's perfect. Highly recommend for its convenience and performance.
