Description:
Years after being assaulted, a young woman (Juliet Chan) seeks bloody revenge on the five men responsible.
Neon Eagle Video is proud to present the first ever official HD release of the mind-melting martial arts cult classic Ninja Terminator!
As anyone who has seen the film knows, a description of the plot is almost impossible. More or less: a group of ninjas compete to control the ultimate artifact of their craft - the Golden Ninja Warrior statue! Meanwhile, a secret agent tries to bust up an organized crime ring that is somehow connected to the statue. But really, the plot is beside the point. Rather, it's the constant display of cheesy insanity onscreen that will keep you hooked from the first minute until the final battle!
After years of ugly-looking and legally dubious copies of the film making the rounds, we are hugely excited to bring to you its first ever authorized disc release in North America, restored from a 4K scan of the original negative and in its proper widescreen aspect ratio, along with a host of commentaries and interviews to provide the proper context for this unique film experience.

Oh the days when my blade rained red. They'll never have my golden ninja warrior.
5.0 out of 5 stars Witness the power of Real ninja warriors in a modern world of technology and explosions
If you like movies that are so bad, they're good, then Godfrey Ho is probably a familiar name to you, and in my opinion Ninja Terminator is his master work. Kind of Starring Richard Harrison as Ninja Master Harry who fights two other ninjas for posession of the Golden Ninja Warrior which will grant ultimate ninja power. THis film is actually two films jammed together, the A movie involves Richard Harrison in a camoflage ninja outfit fighting ninjas. The B film which comprises the majority of the movie is from an unreleased asian martial arts film and follows the badly dubbed adventures of Jaguar as he fights a series of people with his feet for Harry in a search for a piece of the Golden Ninja warrior. The shoddy Editing, dubbing and cropping of this 4:3 film (at one point two people have a conversation with only their knees on screen) and bad story make this film hilariously great fun. Watch it with some friends and riff it to shreds.
4.0 out of 5 stars Four Stars
Not bad. Better than most other movies in the sense that I got a good laugh out of it.
5.0 out of 5 stars It begins with lines like "Today is the 20th anniversary of our ninja empire" ...
Well, this is it, folks - the pinnacle of human artistic achievement. It begins with lines like "Today is the 20th anniversary of our ninja empire" and somehow gets even better from there. One of the heroes has a glorious mustache and a Garfield phone.Might as well not watch this, because all other movies will forever pale in comparison to this masterstroke of sheer genius.
2.0 out of 5 stars Wrong aspect ratio. Unwatchable.
Heck of a movie, but this DVD is completely in the wrong aspect ratio. 😭. Poor authoring = unwatchable.
1.0 out of 5 stars Confusing entry
The movie pictured from New Pacific Pictures is not the 1985 film Ninja Terminator with Richard Harrison, it's a 1972 flick called Ninja Blacklist and retitled for late-eighties/early-nineties vhs releases. The info on this entry is contradictory and caused me to order the wrong tape.
4.0 out of 5 stars Only a Fairy Tale.
This is the best movie I have seen all year, every Ninja movie buff should add this Instant classic to their collections. the action seen are Phenomenal, and the acting is the best, i've seen since Double Team.
5.0 out of 5 stars This movie is amazing
I have no idea what just happened. This movie seems like it was written by an eight year old, and the majority of the voice-overs don't fit the ethnicities of the characters, but everything they did wrong just ends up making the movie even funnier. Everyone who enjoys bad movies should watch this.
Watch for the mini robot
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Pretty funny as an experience, not really a serious movie.
Funniest film ever
This film is so bad, so very very bad, that its great. I was laughing my head off all the way through it, its funnier than the opening sequence of `Black Belt Jones' and thats pretty hard to beat.It must have been made on a budget of roughly 25p, they couldnt even afford to hire asian actors for two of the ninja leaders! Some of the long shots of `Hong Kong' are actually of a MODEL, yes they couldnt be bothered to get real footage, they built a rubbish model. I think most of the budget went on watermelons, which get chopped up a lot with swords. However the best bits are the ridiculous props, my favorite has to be the Garfield phone used by one of the Caucasian "ninjas" its eyes open when he answers it. I mean wtf?! What kind of ninja has a Garfield phone?! And then you have the wind up toy robot (about 3 inches high) that delivers warnings in a booming voice, but cant walk more than about 2 foot before it gets stuck on the carpet or something. The actual fight scenes are mildly amusing, I've seen worse ones, but for the sheer comedy value of this film you cant beat it.
"Ninja"... "Terminator"
If you've found this then you probably know something about this film. It's exactly the film your workmate told you about... dudes wearing pyjamas, rolling around pretending to be ninjas... badly. It's funny in a way modern comedy films could never hope to be.
Poor splicing of unaired garbage
The classic! Richard Harrison. Godfrey Ho. The golden ninja warrior statue. Horrid dubbing. Poor splicing of unaired garbage. The masterpiece. Break out your Garfield phone and enjoy ninja terminator.
Not bad but could have been better
These ninja films are quite old but having said that there is always the expression "old films are much better than new" unfortunately this is not as good as I expected. The first film Golden Ninja Warrior lacks a storyline but the ninja fight scenes are very silly because they are not convincing in any way. If you watched this film when it was first released then maybe you would have believed the silly ninja transform scenes. However the dvd is saved thanks to the second ninja film Ninja Terminator. Although this second film also lacks in plot, the fight scenes are better, thanks to two legendary stars Jack Lam and "silver fox" Hwang Cheng Lee. Overall not bad but it could have improved.
