I've been using this supplement mainly as a precaution, based on what my eye doctor recommended. The formula seems well-researched, and the soft gels are easy enough to take, though I wish they didn’t stick together sometimes when stored in a pill case.It's hard to tell if there’s a noticeable improvement, but I haven't had any new issues since starting, so I take that as a good sign. The twice-a-day dose isn’t ideal for everyone—especially if you tend to skip meals or have an irregular schedule. Still, it's a trusted brand and the ingredient list looks solid.One star off for the dosage inconvenience and because visible benefits may take a while to show up, if at all.

Te company is a leader in eye health and this supplement features a slew of eye and even full body-healthy ingredients all in ample amounts.Ingredients: Luetin and Zeaxanthin are the stars of this show with 10 and 2mg respectively. This supplement also contains a hefty vitamin e for skin, hair, and nails; vitamin c for immunity; and copper and zinc for immunity and eye health.Gelcaps: Each capsule is relatively on the small size and about the size of a bean. I've found them to be very easy to swallow with a glass of water and haven't caused me any odd burps, gas, stomach upset, or nausea. These work great to supplement without a jumbo pill.Effectiveness: I've been taking B+L's Areds formula for over 10 years and have loved it since. As my eyes age with me closer into my 70s, I genuinely do feel this has done wonders to aid me with my visual acuity and overall eye heath, based on why my opticians have been telling me. I can't post any claims regarding ailments here, but I can say it does what it promises for 'old guy eyes'.Value: This bottle contains 4 months worth of eye bliss. Bauch + Lomb is a time-tried and research-proven brand and the price point of this quality supplement can't be beat. My optometrists and opticians have recommended this supplement to me and I've yet to find one that's better!
