If you have used the previous models this will live up to the hype.With the new Ryzen CPUs the battery life on normal tasks is several hours, no longer the hour it has been with the GPUs. This was a pleasant surprise.For years I've looked for a good 2 in 1 laptop tablet for travel and work. Many of the units don't have the power. Ports are always missing. Charging is a pain. I even tried the original EVE Tech V as a possible option (don't bother with EVE Tech/Dough, hype over performance and delivery).These provide power, charging through any USB C (albeit slow on small bricks, LoL), quality screens, a keyboard that doesn't suck (expectations tempered for those of us with mechanical keyboards), an overall quick and quality experience.The only place these did not shine was in battery life but with everything else covered that has been acceptable to me. A 10,000mAh batter plugged in USB C has often gotten me through a few hours of work moving around a construction site or job project.

I was so looking forward to this device, which promised to be a beast of a machine. However, it seems all Z13s struggle with consistently resuming from sleep. You can press power, put it down for a minute, and after it won't wake up. You're forced to hold the power and hard reboot it. I purchased another after this one, and it had the same problem.However, on the 3rd day, this one wouldn't wake at all. I held the button, and tried several things but nothing. Paperweight. Per ASUS support, my only option were to ship it for repair. A brand new, $3k device that I had owned for 3 days. I returned it.I wanted to love it. Perhaps an update will come along and fix the stability. But for now, these should be a hard pass.

This is a pretty bad az little machine (128GB version). If you're buying this to run LLMs and AI image gen, yeah, it can handle a lot. I put Fedora Linux on it first thing and it was going to be my main work machine. I was pretty impressed with how well it loaded and ran some of the larger LLM models. It is new tech, however, and the drivers for it in Fedora are not mature. I had to return it because of that and because I disliked the keyboard more than I thought I would. I use an external kbd most of the time so I didn't think I'd care much. But I took with me on the road for a week and that was too much. But I'm missing it already.

Came on-time, box packaged great, device works. HOWEVER, this product is VERY EXPENSIVE and for it to come out the box with no drivers (wifi drivers) caused me to wait an additional 2 days to use the product because I needed to buy an adapter for ethernet to download all the drivers. Rgb on back and on track pad didn't work correctly until asus released patches. Would have been 5 stars but with the driver issues...it just made it a pain.

Arrived well packed with no issues. Expensive product that require immediate upgrade to 2T short SSD (cloned). Comes with 200W power adapter (power cable is not EU version, but easily fixed). Keyboard is just add-on. You can expect some incompatibility with type A port, it's communicating with external mouse and HDD, but not with phone. Same phone has no issues with communicating on type C port or other laptops on type A ports.You may need additional Thunderbolt 4 dock station as there is not many integrated ports.

This machine is built for power users. The 128GB of RAM means you can run games, creative apps, and heavy multitasking all at once without slowdown. Gaming performance is excellent—smooth frame rates and crisp visuals even on high settings. It’s incredibly fast, with apps opening instantly and large files loading in seconds.For the amount of hardware packed inside, it’s a solid value compared to buying a desktop and laptop separately. Build quality feels premium, with a sturdy chassis, responsive keyboard, and a bright, sharp display. Cooling is impressive—fans are quiet during light work and keep temps stable under load, so heat is never a major issue.The only thing missing is built-in cellular data. If it had that, it would truly be an anywhere-anytime powerhouse. Even without it, this is one of the best compact systems you can get for extreme performance, gaming, and professional work.

When i this device there was a large blue bright spot on the left hand side of the screen along with some bad backlight bleeding, unacceptable for a device in this price bracket.And when I try to initiate a return the only option it gives is UPS pickup due to its price. However i cannot due that as i am commuting or at work from 8-8 on weekdays and someone must be present to hand the package over. I spent over 4 hours with chat and over the phone with support to plead my case and only received copy paste message back. At the end i was basically told to figure it out myself. This was the first and now last time I will ever by anything expensive on this platform.If you must buy this laptop I plead with you to spend a little bit more to buy it from somewhere that treats their customers better.
Memory upgrade
It could have been 5 if memory can be upgraded from 32GB to 64GB. I am stuck with 32GB given this is a gaming laptop that takes a lot of memory. Opening just 2 apps like Photoshop and KeyShot already showing me that 85% of the memory has already been used.
Powerful machine with a special cooling system
Very powerful machine and ideal for local LLM development, it will get hot when running LLM or playing video games. But unlike other typical laptop that the weight is on the keyboard side, this one is on the screen side. The good thing is that the keyboard is nice and cool. The cooling system is letting air flow from the back and out at the top, so make sure there are enough room from the wall, that said, do not cover the back with any cover.
