Item worked beautifully with 3d models supplied on the included thumb drive. When slicing new models I used Cura, and added raft to give a good platform for the print. When not using raft, I encountered some adhesion issues. Now working to fine tune slicer settings to avoid need for raft. It’s a great little machine to watch. Already planning my first mod to the unit to move the control panel to the top of the unit. It works fine where it is, but us modders love to make the machines our own. My first Delta machine, but won’t be my last. I intend to take it to shows.

I can tell this little guy has a lot of potential, but when I looked up how to calibrate it to make actually good prints besides the demo cat, I quickly got overwhelmed! One member of the community estimated that 50% of all machines ship with good settings already in place, and the rest of us have a lot of testing and tweaking ahead of us. I plan to continue that testing and tweaking--an update here, a G-code trial and error there--and earn my good prints fair and square. But it's not quite what I bargained for when shopping for an entry-level device.I appreciate that it comes pre-assembled and with a fairly straightforward interface for the basic stuff. I just wish the other aspects were beginner-friendly too.

Everything started fine and then it got clogged within a few days. The noise level is not very loud. Build quality was really good for a few days and then it got horrible. It’s not a bad price if it would work. As for adhesion it wasn’t bad. It was a little hard to get some of the pieces off.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Mini Delta m300 and out of the box it was good to print. It took a few tries to get anything other than the preloaded cat to print, but figured it out.Word to the wise, ABS, being a higher temp filament will work, but warps due to extreme change in temp after printing. PLA works exceptionally well and adheres better, zero print defects with it. This machine is quick, has great resolution and is fairly quiet. Be sure to use CURA as slicer software and set your temps for each print.
