He uses the pen injectors and administers insulin shots four times a day, three for meals and one before bed. Acclimating to all the procedures associated with being a NEW diabetic has been difficult, along with all the additional costs. Our Medicare plan RX option was charging $65 for 100 pen needles and at four per day, the cost was adding up. I never even thought about shopping around because everything was set up by the doctor. Luckily, I've found these and now we can save money since these are $19 for 200! There's NO reason to pay BIG PHARMA PRICES when you are getting the exact same product with the same quality!ANNUAL COSTS:4 needles X 365 days = 1460 Big Pharma price at $65 per 100 = $9494 needles X 365 days = 1460 Bolo price at $19 per 200 = $138.70SAVE YOURSELF $810 PER YEAR!

Value for money:WITH insurance 100 needles of the same size would cost $50!
4.0 out of 5 stars Quality substitute to the name brand, just not for us
Got these for my partner to use with his pen needles. He has been using the name brand 5mm ultra fine needles for his daily/weekly shots. I thought I'd get these for him to try as they were smaller in length and possibly more comfortable. Unfortunately, these did not work for him. He said they screwed on easily and were compatible with both his pens, but they hurt more than than his old brand. He said if insurance stopped covering his needles, he would not purchase this brand as a cheaper alternative. I think if you use standard 4mm pen needles, this would work wonderfully for you, they just weren't a home run for him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pen Needles for Daily Insulin Use
Hello Fellow Bolo Users. These pen needles have been excellent for my daily insulin injections. I've been using them for a few days now and have experienced no discomfort or bruising at all something I really appreciate. What stands out the most is their hygienic, single-use design. Even better, the needle cap snaps back into place after use, something I haven’t seen with other brands. That extra safety feature gives me peace of mind when disposing them in a needle bin. For the price and the quantity you get, this is an incredible budget-friendly option especially compared to pharmacy prices. Super easy to use, reliable, and affordable. Solid 5 stars!
4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Value!
As a participant in the Bolo Vine program, I have the opportunity to try select products. I am a new user of Liraglutide, which is a medication that needs to be administered every day from a pen that uses changeable needle tips. So I am going to go through tips quickly (unlike many other injectable meds that are once-a-week self-administered with a regular syringe or self-injector needle that is self-contained). Liraglutide (I use the generic, but it is the same thing as Saxenda or Victoza), comes in a pen injector that is similar to insulin injectors (they use the same pen needle tips). I am happy to report that these are compatible with a generic Liraglutide pen, and they are just as good as some other needles I tried recently. However, this box contained 200 needles instead of the typical 100-count box, for roughly the exact cost. This is an excellent value for those who need their medicine and are on a tight budget (and insurance won't cover the cost of the needle tips). I never heard of the brand, but it is a generic (much like Liraglutide). They didn't hurt, but I think when I finally need to buy more, I would seek these out again (hopefully they will still be available), and maybe in a 5 or 6mm length.
