You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer).* These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly.Why I ordered this item: I am rewiring my house and wanted to use cat6 ends instead of the cat5 ends I have been using.Likes:* They work as expected.* Easy to crimp.* Speeds are what I expect from cat6 cable.No likes:* NoneWould I pay full price for this product: Yes these are solid.Final thoughts: You can always save more money buying in bulk but if you only need a few ends these are a great option.

The pass through design of these RJ45 connectors makes installation easier. If you haven't had experience with this type it allows you to verify the wiring colors and that they have all gone through enough to get a good bite when crimped. The quality of these is average and the pack is well priced making it a good value.The downside of this type of connector is any use where moisture or weather may be an issue. Because of the exposed ends of the wire they are a lot more susceptible to corrosion at the wire end and where the wire is pierced by the contact. I would not use them for these use cases, stick to indoor and controlled environment applications. That is the case for any RJ45 pass through connectors, not this brand in particular.

This big bag of RJ45 connectors will likely be a lifetime supply for me. I see no reason why they wouldn’t be fine for a professional level installer as I found nothing specifically wrong with them. I will say that installing these end is a more difficult task that I thought but not because of these connectors. I had a couple crimps that the internal locking tabs which grab the cable sheathing fell out of the connector after crimping, but I can’t be sure if that is an issue related to these or something I’m doing wrong. They fit fine in all my gear and I was able to make several successful cables with them so I’m happy.

These work perfect! Was able to make some patch cables and they crimped fine and seem to hold without issue. I have had some cheap ones in the past that the crimp was loose, but these bite in and stay. Easy to use and fit just about any cutter/crimper out there for RJ45 with passthrough. Really can't go wrong with a bulk lot of these for the price either.

These were easy to use. I love the pass thru design. It makes it so much easier to get the wires in place and verify they are correctly placed. Each one I used gave a perfect result when verified with a cable tester I was able to use my standard crimp tools with no problems.
