It has everything we like in a dash cam and more. It even has voice commands, although you do need to push a button to activate that feature. The quality of the recordings is fantastic and it has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi so that you can load a video directly to your phone. Keep in mind that the higher the resolution you use, the more data space you'll use up on the SD card. It was very simple to install using the 3M tape on the GPS receiver. As it only comes with 3 cable clips, You'll probably end up doing the same as me and ordering extras. The recordings tell you how fast you're going via GPS as well as a lot of other helpful info. The night vision is really good, too.Another really cool thing is that this cam has one of the "super capacitors" rather than a battery so that it can stay vigilant when in the "OFF" mode and wake up to record if anything untoward happens while you're away.We really like the peace-of-mind that having a dash cam in all of our cars gives us.Recommended.

I’ve always said I wanted to get me a dash cam and finally went for it. I chose this one based on good reviews but even with the bad ones, sometimes u just have to find out for yourself. I wanted the parking mode feature especially with staying in apartments. I didn’t use a hardwire kit because I just wasn’t comfortable messing with fuses. Choosing additional installation pieces outside of what the cam came with took a while cause either I purchased the wrong thing or ran out of something. I chose to do the OBD port connection and no issues. The view is very clear, instillation became easier after I got all correct parts. Only thing I don’t really like is that after parking for some time the cam idles and disconnects from the Wi-fi and also u can’t view any history footage from the dash cam unless u re-connect the device. However, im loving this dash cam and it was def worth the price.

Impressed! Having tried a competitive product with a big name and it was a train wreck. Same price point. This is a nice presentation, well laid out, app works well and video is kinda easy to get out, on par for what they are all like as for the retrieval process. It’s small enough to be unobtrusive, works as it should, provides decent video, and while I haven’t tried it at night I expect it’ll be on par with others. The polarizer lens helps provide decent video. The cable is long enough without much extra leftover installed in a 2025 GMC Acadia. Having a screen and buttons, while small, is helpful, more helpful than I thought. The really strange and amazing thing is this new idea of using static film (think old cheap phone screen protector) to attach to windshield, then apply the 3m double sticky tape to the film. It allows you to simply remove the film and the mount stays with the film. Says it can be reapplied because it’s not adhesive it’s electrostatically attached to the glass. Yeah I know but it works quite well and I have no idea why. It should just fall off but it doesn’t. I bought a 256gb high impact micro sd card and it works well. There are many settings from flipping image upside down, exposure setting, I can’t list them all but all you’ll need to set it and forget it. I found a remote control to automatically mark a video if seeing an incident although it has voice command built in to do the same thing. Voice stuff seemed a bit sensitive or touchy plus means your interior conversations will be recorded with the video which I don’t want. I turned off the mic and will use the remote to mark anything important for later download.All of these dashcams have an obstacle with reviewing and extracting video. Frankly it’s hokey and time consuming. Why? You have to connect to the dash cams built in WiFi card but the cam doesn’t connect to real WiFi. It’s done this way to speed up review and extracting video vs. Bluetooth. And once you find the clip you have to save it to the non live sd card spot and then sync with your phones photo program. So not for the non technical person. You can also connect this to your computer and get video that way, and with the magnetic mount that’s not too difficult but it’s more work than necessary for what you’ll probably hopefully never need. These cams are like an insurance policy for the worse case scenario. I understand it’s a lot of video to comb through, and it’s the underlying issue as best as I can tell. Upgrading to a faster WiFi card would help I guess but it’s a small package to fit everything into.Eventually someone will figure out the connection and extraction issues but until then I’ll say this is probably as good a unit as you’ll find at this price point. Also note, if you have wireless CarPlay, you’ll have to turn that off so you can connect to the dashcam. Why? You can only use one WiFi connection at a time and CarPlay uses WiFi to do that, and so does the camera (WiFi card in cam).If I could ask for anything more it would be a more streamlined way to review and extracting video. This is a set and forget kind of device not like looking at home security cam footage.

This is a nice dash cam. The only thing I do not like that they have the adhesive sticker to protect the window. That fell off after a week on my window. The quality on this camera is pretty good. I plan on upgrading to a higher end on in the future. This camera for its price now is pretty darn good. I would recommend this to friends.

Best Ford facing vehicle camera I’ve ever had. I’ve purchased four front and facing vehicle cameras over the last five years. Some failed due to heat, some simply failed, and the last one had huge gaps in the video (usually at the time I needed it most).This camera has a great picture, overlapping video clips, so nothing’s missed and it has yet to ever fail me in getting the videos when I need them.This camera is easy to install and looks good due to its smaller size. It is a great product at a great price.

I'm liking the small footprint on this camera. Brand is a bit pricey for what you get - lots of cheaper options for 4k cameras, and this one doesn't include the rear camera OR the SD card - but the quality is good, the APP works fine and I love that I don't even know the camera is there. I hooked this one up to my Ridgeline's rear view mirror plug via a DashCam power adapter. The camera is so small that after installing, spouse didn't even notice it was there.For our other car, I opted for a different / cheaper brand, a 4k camera with a rear camera for the other vehicle - that also included and SD card. I saved a few bucks but it's definitely noticeable inside the other car, unlike this stealthy option.Overall, since I only wanted on camera for my Ridgeline, this one works well and is hidden from site. Very happy with my purchase

Elle est très simple à installer Pour la configurer tout se fait depuis l'application du téléphone en connectant la Dascam en wifi. Les fichiers vidéo sont également dispo sur l'application. Les vidéos sont de bonne qualité et l'on peut choisir différent choix pour l'affichage des vues. Je recommande cette caméra c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix
A little wonder of technology
A Full option little wonder of technology! The usage is quite obvious and with a little try and error the functions are easy to use. Unfortunately, there is no manual in Dutch but with a little help of You Tube 😁 ....
CAUTION: Very Hot and questionable customer service
I had to return this as it was hot to hold while setting it up indoors at 23°C, let alone writing 4k video to a memory card in a hot UAE car …The interface is also full of warnings not to record video in hot environments and to turn off active parking modes in hot climates. I don’t think this product is suitable for 50°+ heat.I contacted support via their web chat with my concern and I received a generic message = poor customer service
Little but powerful
The media could not be loaded. Been using Vantrue products for years and never been disappointed. This new model is very nice and compact, easily hidden behind the mirror and out of sight. Using OBD constant power and it works fantastic. The wireless button feature is great too, can press it and take photos or save the recording manually just in case.
Excellent little dash-cam.
Well-made and surprisingly small. Easy to fit and unobtrusive. Unusually, it comes complete with a polarising filter to remove any screen reflections (just twist the filter once fitted until they disappear). Very reasonably priced for a 4k camera with the latest Sony Starvis 2 sensor which produces good, clear video day and night. A one-star review here claims that you can’t power it from a USB C socket but that hasn’t been my experience - it works perfectly for me. The screen is small but usable although it’s easier to set it up initially through the phone app. The only minor issue that I had with it was that if you use the GPS time signal for the internal clock, the daylight saving setting uses the US dates to automatically change in the spring and autumn which are different from the dates we use in the UK. That said, it’s easy enough to set the time manually so not so much a problem as an inconvenience. It does run very warm but no more than my previous dash-cam which lasted several years with any problems.
