I have about10 chicks in my incubator that will be hatching out soon. I wanted something other than a heat lamp. This seemed like a much safer option.It also doesn’t use as much power.The chicks can come and go in and out of the heat as they please helping them to not overheat.It came on time, well packed. It was easy to assemble. Everything works as it should on it.It’s the perfect size for what I needed and to fit in my setup.It seems pretty sturdy. I think if it helps me keep more chicks from dying young it will pay for itself so I’d say it’s good value for the money.I think the chicks will be quite comfortable under it!

This brooder is better for few chicks or smaller chicks due to the size, but can be bought in bigger sizes. It was relatively easy to assemble, the hardest part being the anti-perch cone. It functions how it should. The overall sturdiness is decent for plastic pieces. I would buy this product again, but in the bigger size offered.

We got 6 chickens about 3 months ago. They started as little chicks and this brooder worked perfectly for what we needed. We were worried about the dangers of a heat lamps, so the non-exposed heating element was great. It was plenty study and was very easy to put together. Great for folks looking to raise some chicks.

Great once put together! Directions were a bit confusing, but it only went together one way! Good quality. Good functionality. Doesn't get to hot.

This chick heater works great!! It doesn’t appear like it would work very well in an outdoors area for the simple reason it doesn’t get so hot you have to worry about getting your hands burned off when touching it no matter how long it runs for. As you can see in my pictures I have it in a plastic container with pee pads. It works great my chicks love sitting on it for heat and under it. It’s super easy to wipe off the top with a damp washcloth. I would definitely buy this heater again as long as it last as long as it’s suppose to.

Our newly hatched little chicks love this heat plate. They feel safe underneath it and I love That I don't have to worry about it Catching Fire. Perfect size to fit in small brooder. Does not have adjustable heat setting only one temp. Looks like a little house and is durable. Does a great job keeping the chicks warm and functions perfectly.

This product is completely useless due to a serious manufacturing defect. The parts are not made to consistent dimensions, which makes it impossible to assemble them properly—especially when trying to connect the sides. No matter how carefully you try, they simply won’t fit together. I’ve assembled many products before and never had an issue like this. It’s incredibly disappointing to spend time and money on something that can’t even be put together. Need my money back.Avoid this product.

Bought this for my chicks and it works great. I really like using this more than the big light.... I always felt nervous about starting a fire. They like this and it's easy and safe.
