I applied a thick layer about an hour before, covered it with plastic wrap, and by the time I sat in the chair, the area was completely numb.The numbing effect lasted about 3 hours for me, which was perfect for a medium-length session. I barely felt anything for the first two hours, and only mild discomfort as the numbness started to wear off. It definitely helped me get through the session much more comfortably.The cream goes on easily, isn’t greasy, and didn’t irritate my skin at all. Plus, it didn’t interfere with the tattoo ink my artist had no issues. If you’re nervous about pain or have a long session coming up, I highly recommend giving this a try!

This cream is great!! Affordable, easy to apply, no scent, the thickness is good. Numbed my arm, I did a 2 hour floral sleeve, and it stayed numb for the whole thing, I let it sit on my arm for like 4 hours because my appointment got delayed, so my arm wasn’t feeling anything. Love this stuff!! Will be buying more for future tattoos

This is the best numbing cream I've ever used for tattoos. Put it on an hour or so before the appointment, let it sit, and while I was getting tattooed, I didn't feel a thing! The tattoo was close to my armpit and I knew it was gonna suck if I wasn't numb. But this stuff made it so easy. There was no pain, and I was just chatting through the whole appointment. And it didn't cause excessive bleeding like some other creams can.

Used this on my back for an 8 hour session. Did do a reslly good job. Doesn't last very long though. After 3 hours it started to wear off.

This being my first tattoo and not knowing what to expect, I decided to purchase a numbing agent. My tattoo is 2 inches and somewhat a minimalist tattoo so took about an hour plus to do. I prepared this morning by taking a shower, shaving, and then put the numbing cream on and bandaged up with Syran wrap which apparently didn’t work. So, I took more numbing cream, and placed the cream on a medical wrap (nonstick and not gauze) of about 3 inches in diameter and then put it on tightly with medical tape which worked while I ran errands for 2 hours. When the tattoo artist took the wrapping off, the area was super numb. Couldn’t even fill him unwrapping the bandage where the numbing cream was. I felt zero of the outlining. I only felt pressure on about 90% of the tattoo, but there was a small bit that I don’t think had the numbing cream on it and I felt when he was bearing down with the needle. So, I do think next time I’ll double the bandage size, but overall the pain was minimal and bearable. But, I did use about 1/2 the container and leave it on for 2 hours sealed up. So, it’s 100% worth what I paid, and I probably wouldn’t have felt any pain had I covered 4 inches instead of just 3 with the makeshift bandage I created.But, the pain did kick in later after a couple hours when the numbing agent stopped working. Now it’s just a little uncomfortable.

This worked great, for most part. I put it on pretty thick as suggested. Left on about 1.5 hrs maybe 2 before tattoo and wrapped it. It was really numb and worked great for the tattoo. But then I got an extremely itchy rash. First I used this on my foot to do a test check. The next day I was scratching my skin away. I was thinking maybe I didn’t wipe it off good enough and maybe left it on my skin over night and that was the reason for the itchy rash. But it’s now 3 days later and it’s still extremely itchy and uncomfortable. Though the next day after applying it, since I believed I may not have washed it off very well I went ahead and used this for my thigh tat that I was getting. Again, used it about the same way so the numbing was fantastic although only lasted about 2 hours and the. Was gone on 90% of the area needing to be tatted. So we stopped and will be finishing today. Can’t say I’m not nervous bc now my thigh is extremely itchy also. And I KNOW I cleaned this area with light soapy water to make sure the cream was off. But nope I’m still very itchy again. Ugh this is aggravating. I’m going to see if there is a return policy on it and maybe try another. I’ve used the tktx numbing cream. It’s more pricey but no reactions and it’s amazing!! Please let me know if you’ve had a bad reaction. I came back here to see if anyone had but hadn’t found anything. Maybe it’s just my skin ig 😔

Okay so first of all, I just wanna say this product DOES work, just not for the advertised time. I followed the directions to a T, had it on for 2hrs wrapped tightly, and left it on until my artist was ready to begin. Like my title says, it lasted about 30 minutes (give or take a few), BUT in my opinion, it was better than nothing! When I first took it off, I was disappointed bc I didn’t think it felt numb, but once he started tattooing, I didn’t feel ANYTHING whatsoever!!! I was beyond shocked bc I’ve never used anything like this before lol. Once it did ware off, it hurt like a b**** tho lmao. The smell is pretty strong, so just be aware of that. It wasn’t an issue for me tho. The only other downside besides it only working for 30min, was that it caused a tonnnn of little red bumps all over the area I applied it to, and my artist was a bit concerned about it, and did mention early on that it felt different to tattoo on skin that had used this cream, than it did with bare skin, but my tattoo ended up being fine in the end. I will have to go back for a touch-up in a few spots, but I can’t say with certainty whether it was due to the cream or not. Regardless, I’d still give this a 9/10 just bc the lasting time is wayyyy off. But I’d definitely recommend getting this if you’re getting a small tattoo, piercing, or maybe even just bloodwork. It really does work WONDERS!! I’ll definitely be using it again, even though I broke out from it lol It’s a small price to pay imo🤷🏻♂️😂
