5.0 out of 5 stars Frame Makes This Pack Perfect
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This pack was well worth the splurge. I had originally bought a cheap pack but ordered this after I tried on my husband’s. The built in frame makes all the difference. We hiked all over Arizona and my neck and shoulders never got fatigued. I had no running from the straps either. This is perfect for day hikes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size fora day hike
Comfortable backpack (for reface, I’m 5’4” medium build), best feature is the airscape suspension. Nothing worse than a sweaty back during and after a long hike. I can fit quite a bit in here- even more than I normally would because I don’t have to account for the weight of the bag since it’s light. Normal pack would have a second pair of sneakers (sz 9 us women) and outfit (I’ve packed light with a tee and shorts, and heavier with a sweater and long cargo pants), extra battery, snacks, wallet, and first aid kit. With all that, there’s still some room to spare, but I don’t tend to over pack my backpacks. The main compartment has a small mesh zip pocket inside that I mainly store my wallet and battery in. There is an elastic pocket/sleeve on the back meant for the water bladder. It’s really a no-fuss backpack when it comes to storage/organization pockets, which I prefer for a backpack of this size. Other than the mesh zip pouch in the main compartment, the other pockets are the two on each side of the pack for water bottles/umbrellas, and the two zippered hip belt pockets.Second favorite feature is the lid lock, which made the tempest my go-to because I love taking my bike with me on a lot of my trips. One feature that I never thought I’d needed was the blinker light attachment, but I always use it! Highly recommend it if looking for a quality backpack that wont need to be replaced every few years.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable to wear; great design and quality
This is an amazing lightweight smaller hiking pack that still has lots of room. It's only a little over 2 pounds and you can barely feel it when you're hiking. My wife has used it on multiple hikes now and loves it. It's easy to adjust to fit perfectly. The side pouches are also really nice and convenient for keeping snacks and things like that in there. There's a lot of room in the back too. The hiking pole storage thing on it is awesome too. It's really useful if you're someone that likes to carry poles but isn't using them constantly. Overall it's top quality pack from top to bottom. Every pack we've used from Osprey has been excellent quality and design. It's great for a day pack, but it has enough room that you could use it for an ultralight overnight pack as well. She is an expert level hiker and says she would highly recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
This women’s lightweight hiking backpack is a great choice for active adventures. The suspension system gives you a breathable, close-to-body fit, and the sliding yoke makes it easy to adjust for comfort. It helps keep the backpack to stay stable even when you're moving fast on rugged trails, making it perfect for hiking, trail running, or other outdoor activities. With dual-zippered panel access to the main compartment and a top zippered pocket for quick-access items, it’s both practical and versatile. A comfortable, well-designed pack for multi-sport use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Osprey Tempest 11L Women's Lightweight Hiking Backpack with Hipbelt, Anchor Blue/Atlas
I got a much larger pack a few years ago from Osprey and it has not only been a staple for camping as well as regular travel , but my Mom keeps borrowing it when she travels, too! This bag is smaller, much better suited for day hiking, but the quality is the same and it has all of the same features that made me fall in love! There are so many micro adjustments for the straps including what angle they come from, and they are genuinely easy to adjust on my own. All of the little pouches and pockets are so well thought out. You can tell this was designed by people who actually use this gear. The airscape padding that keeps airflow moving between me and the bag is such an amazing feature that I don’t think I could ever go back.
5.0 out of 5 stars Consistent Osprey quality
This is my third Osprey pack and I am a very happy repeat customer. This pack is my perfect daypack, meaning that it holds all the things I might need on a day hike with room to spare and it is incredibly comfortable to wear compared to other packs with adjustments available in so many dimensions. For the female hiker who wants to forget they are carrying a pack, this is a terrific option and built incredibly well. Recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful pack, comfortable and practical 10/10
We’re not in anyway an avid hikers. We’re an occasional hikers and my lady really cannot say enough good things about this backpack. It is quite roomy, she was able to carry an extra pair of shoes, the full water bladder, a first aid kit, extra water bottle, keys, wallet, battery pack, snacks and plenty of room for more. It doesn't have a lot of loose extra straps hanging everywhere and has a nice secure feel. It was very comfortable for her to wear on a long hike that we did last week and she’s overall happy with the quality. She highly recommends this backpack.
4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money
After going through two "budget " packs and being miserable, I bit the bullet and spend some money. I LOVE IT!Not cheap but on the cheaper side of Osprey packs, this pack preformed just as it should... It was very comfortable on my 50 mile section hike of the Appalachian trail ...I am a plus sized woman and the hip belt fit and held the weight of the pack. There is plenty of room in the main compartment with one smaller pocket on the top and the bottom... with held my sleep system and essentials so I could get to them easily ...The only reason. I am giving this pack 4 stars is it was nearly impossible for me to reach my water bottles in the side pockets, much less get them back in.....Al in all, Ladies if you are looking for a good pack without breaking the bank, I would highly recommend this pack.
