I purchased 2 of these in April 2025. It's almost August now, and both of these little heaters are working like champions! I have 2 betta tanks that are about 3 gallons in size, and I have both heaters set at the lowest setting-78°F. These keep the water consistently warm between 78°F and 80°F (or 27°C, pictured) and have never overheated. I tried using the suction cup attachments, but took them off and the heater stays in place in my small tanks.I love the sleek, streamlined appearance of the silver with the white top and cord. I feel these are an excellent value for the quality and usefulness!

I ordered the URUQ 25 Watt Small Aquarium Fish Tank Heater for my new betta tank. Normally, I do not place heaters in my betta tanks, but as of late, we have been keeping the house cooler these days, it is making my tanks rather cold. As Bettas come from a tropical climate, I felt it in their best interest to heat the tank a bit. The heater is made of metal and has a temperature range of 78 to 94 degrees. It is 25 watts, measures 4.4 inches in length, making it the perfect size for 1 to 3 gallon tanks. There are two detachable suction cups allowing you to mount the heater to the bottom or to the side of the tank and, like most aquarium heaters, the heater needs to be completely submerged at all times. There is an easy-to-use heat controller on the electrical cord, which features both Celsius and Fahrenheit, making it easy to select the correct temperature.Overall, the URUQ 25 Watt Small Aquarium Fish Tank Heater is a perfect heater for my small fish tank. I love the hardy metal body and controller on the cord makes temperature adjustments easy. The heater works great and I love it. Five stars.

This heater is perfect for my smallest nano tank! I tried it in my 5 gallon (out of spec, I know) and it's currently in a 2 gallon. This thing is a solid metal tube only ~4 inches in length. The only seam on it is at the very top (or side if you install this horizontally) where the power cable protrudes from. I really do prefer these designs over the more complex ones I've seen with plastic casings and whatnot that baby snails/fish/shrimp can get stuck in.In terms of power, this 25W heater wasn't quite able to maintain temp in my 5 gallon and was basically sitting on 24/7 trying its best. While it's doing just fine with the 2 gallon.I'm not a fan of the controller on this however. Unlike nicer heaters, there's no individual temp control or temperature readout on the body or the controller. So you'll be manually checking temps or buying a separate thermometer for monitoring purposes. As for actual temp settings, only the lowest setting is appropriate for my tanks (78° F) so I'm not able to review how it does on the higher settings.Also not a fan of the color. I think it'd be fine if you use a white/frosted backing on your tank but all of mine use black/tinted backings and the brushed metal + white color combo really stands out here. You'll need to get creative in hiding this thing with other decorations or plants if you hate the look of visible aquarium equipment like me.

This small fish tank heater works great and has been for months now. It keeps the tank at an even 78 degrees and the fishies love to hang out by it. It was easy to install as well.

Small Aquarium Fish Tank Heater: URUQ 25W Submersible Aquarium Heater Adjustable Temperature Ultra-Low Water Level for Betta Fish Starter Kit - Under 3 Gallon Mini AquariumI recently picked up a small tank with white trim instead of the usual black. It was nice to find this heater that is also white to help it blend into the background. The heater does a great job holding temperature. And the sleek ceramic element does not take up much space. The cord is even flexible enough so I could position it where I wanted in the tank and the suction cups hold it in place.
