My almost 5-year-old twin boy/girl love these pretend animals. They have them in super giant size and now these are what I call regular size but I don’t care. They just make a menagerie of many and play things like wildlife refuge , yes really. and when I said oh, I could play circus by granddaughter looked up to me with that look what’s a circus and that’s something I realize that’s right there really are no circuses with animals anymore times have changed, but of course there are zoo but mostly when I notice they seem to line them all up by size of each character so if they have three of a zebra, they are lined up in that order larger to smaller or vice versa but when I love how they get so imaginative and in this day of TV and all these other gadgets, this was a refreshing toy or should I say toys? I have to say I 100% believe that all children should have toys like this to play with. They don’t have to play with them all the time but 30 minutes of their time to use your imagination is itself precious these days. The animals themselves are of excellent quality. They can also be used in a science project. You won’t go wrong getting these they’re just one of those toys that have been around forever and they’re hopefully going to be around a lot longer when these children have their children an absolutely great buy

As a prekindergarten teacher, I am always on the lookout for that perfect trifecta: appealing, durable, and affordable. Toys that will be fun, will not break out classroom budget, and will last for years of use. Well, these animals hit two of the marks. For one, they are certainly affordable. At $1.50 per figure, you can certainly do much worse than this collection. The toys are a good size and you get a nice variety of classic animals. They are also pretty durable. Made of hard plastic (not the bendable PVC style you might be imagining), they seem like they could withstand quite a bit of "jumping" in the hands of small children. Well, except for maybe one possibility. See when it comes to looks and appearance, these animals just... aren't very nice. The paint job is fine, sure, but all the animals have that wavy "3-D Printed" look to them. And even worse, there is a giant seam that goes across the abdomen for most of the builds. I did not want to smash the figures on purpose, but I do wonder how much that is going to be a weak point. Time will tell, I suppose. On a final note, I had one last pet peeve about the design of these toys: *the hole.* All the animals have a tiny hole right between their legs. This is not only going to cause some immediate dirty humor with children, but it also means that I need to seal these holes before the toys can be used in the water table. Because if these figures are indeed hollow and do fill up with liquid, there will be absolutely no draining them (and they will get gross -- fast!).So in conclusion, two out of three ain't bad... but it's not enough to warrant a flawless review, either.

Alright, this is actually pretty nice!Quality: Slightly better than the Dollar General, but not as nice as Melissa and Doug. It's a thick molded plastic with nice color and detail, great size for kiddos, and just a few flaws in mass production which I can easily overlook. My kids took to it right away and it's a awesome set!Booklet: I love the adventure guide... Someone took the time to create a little booklet with a short description, fun facts, weight, height, and endangered status. This helps turn a toy into a learning tool and way more engaging than expected.I haven't seen any misspelling or blatant errors yet, which is very reassuring!The animals can be left in the box for storage because they fit nicely. That's a nice touch.I think this set surprised me with thoughtful touches.It's also cute because it says "collect them all" with a checklist... But they are all included as part of a set so it's a bit of a gimmick or perhaps an incentive to learn the animal facts, or visit the zoo and check them off as you go.

Have ten grandchildren, and like to have toys on hand when they visit. This is a nice set of 13 animals. Each animal is fully finished, with no holes on the underside. The detail in coloration is remarkable, almost look hand painted. The plastic is firm but mildly flexible, definitely not brittle. A child would have to work very hard to damage any of these. They are not "size relative" to each other, but that's understandable, as it includes very large (elephant, giraffe), and small (panda) animals. They are very sturdy, won't be easily broken.Would have been nice if it included a small carry bag, as you'll need something other than the small box they came in to store them, but a medium size plastic food container works great.

There are a lot of animals, decent size, foe the money but the quality is so-so. The paint is faded and they almost feel like they are 3-D printed… cheap quality. Some of them are fine and some have very faded paint. I wouldn’t buy them again. The informational booklet is really great!

This is a very cool toy/ learning set that will be enjoyed by boys or girls, multiple ages, and multiple levels of education and learning. The little animals are pretty good quality and show a lot of detail. They are really cute and I think kids will be attracted to them.The book gives a lot of interesting facts about each animal and shows a pretty neat picture of the animal being discussed. The book is a good quality and I don't think it's going to fall apart anytime soon but will be able to be used over and over and over. Whether your child is interested in playing with animals or learning about animals or both, this is a toy they will enjoy having.
