From day one out of the box, I have fought to keep it cool. Even after a couple hours of general work with multiple things open, it heats up. Gaming has been another issue. Long gaming sessions has made it feel like you could fry an egg on the keys. When my tower went down, and my laptop replaced it, the heat issue became worse. I have gone through more coolers than I can count up until now. Within minutes, my laptop has never been cooler.It is easy to set up. The fact it is USB or plugged in is a plus. The extra ports make it easy to plug in external equipment quickly. The slant feature is nice, though I do not use it much.The foam seal, now that is a new thing for me, but it works nicely. The lights are fun and give a little flair to the cooler.Now for the important part, the fans. These really work. When on max, it is like having a small fan running. Not loud enough to be bothersome. I have finally been able to play a couple games for an extended time, without having heat issues making me shut down. I can go from work to heavy gaming without worry of down throttling due to heat. Every time I reach up, my laptop is cool. Typically running around 55-57 degrees. And being an older computer, I am noticing an increase in performance due to it maintaining a cooler temperature.Thoroughly impressed. And if it lasts, like I hope it will, worth every penny.

This review is for the KLIM Turbofrost Gaming Laptop Cooling PadNormally I'll put the ASIN number to be sure my review is associated with the proper product. There wasn't a number for this product. I find that suspicious but I may be overthinking things. The box has the model as KLUS-TURBOFROS-ANBLK-v1-1 made in China.If you like custom lighting, there are a lot of choices. It has a nice look and feels solid. You get an extra filter for the bottom and a cable to connect the rear USB ports to your laptop, The location of the USB ports is OK but they're receded too far. It was a pain to get my track ball's transmitter plugged in. Good readout but buttons could be better marked. The LEDs stayed on when I powered off. I had to push and hold one of the LED buttons to shut the lights off.For me, looks are the least important thing with this type of product. How it cools is the most important. I used it with my Dell G15 and posted screen grabs of my temps at different speeds.At the lower speeds it's pretty quiet but the laptop's fans worked harder. The temp on the right is for my NVMe SSD.

My laptop has been running hot for a bit and the cooling stand I had been using was on it's last legs; but the KLIM is a fantastic replacement. It is a bit more pricey than I usually look at for this type of thing, but it took no time at all to feel the massive difference in the heat coming off the laptop.The foam cushion holds the laptop in place and prevents any rattle from case on case contact. I think the adjustable speed fan will really come into play during the summer months while the lower two settings do well in the more moderate temps we've got at the moment. The fan does get louder as you spin it faster, but even though it is noticeable, it isn't obnoxious. Controls for the fans and lights are simple to use and easy to see. Oh yeah! Lights! This is really dumb, but I dig that I can match the lighting on the cooling stand to my backlit keyboard.As we head back into surface of the sun temps at the end of the week, I'm quite happy I've got this stand to keep my laptop from cooking itself.

This laptop cooling fan has made a big difference. My daughter uses my laptop for gaming, and this definitely helps keep the machine running cooler. It’s quiet, effective, and does exactly what we needed. Very happy with the performance and would absolutely recommend it for anyone with a laptop that heats up during heavy use.

Review for: "KLIM Turbofrost Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad - 4 Powerful Turbo Fans - 4 x 4000 RPM, Dynamic RGB, 4-Ports USB, Laptop Cooler 2 Power Modes USB-C/DC, Sealed Foam for Fast Cooling - Up to 17in - BlackI use if for my MacBook Pro Silicon 16" but find it that Macbook Pro 16" Does not have air intake from the bottom.Then I use it for my DELL Precision Intel Code I9, and find that the intake on DELL precision is only small line from left to right on the back side, while this cooler is only part in the middle half of it length. So by design it does not match.I like to use it, so tried on my Mac Studio M4, but it is too bulky, and it is have a slate angle, so it is not designed for Mac studio M4.So I have no use case for this.It is very bulky, I would suggest to have more opening from left to the right side to match more Laptop.The button has no backlight so it is difficult to see. Also the led is quite dim to my liking.Maybe for other Gaming laptop that this is designed for, it has better match.So please read carefully the cutout before buy, make sure it match your Laptop.I still give it 4 stars, because it is not the product fault, it is my ignorance to see the picture carefully to make sure it match my use case.

The KLIM Turbofrost is hands-down the best laptop cooling pad I’ve used. The 4 turbo fans spinning at 4000 RPM really keep my gaming laptop cool, even under heavy load. The dynamic RGB lights give it a stylish edge, and the USB-C/DC power options are super convenient. I also love the sealed foam design, it focuses the airflow perfectly.

Lets you run it from your laptops USB port so you don’t have to have an annoying cable taking up an outlet and you don’t have to turn it on yourself every time (power up and turns off with laptop).It’s amazing - miles better than my llano cooling pad for essentially the same price. AND it actually fits my Zephyrus G14 14” laptop perfectly without covering fan outputs. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

At first I thought this was pricey for a laptop cooling unit. I am not the household expert on such things so this was handed to my teenage son as he is an avid laptop gamer, and particularly in this 30C+ heat spell has been struggling to keep things cool.It was quick and easy to set up, and colourful, but the important part that you want to hear is that it really did make a difference and kept the temperatures down. He has what is known as a 'Gaming' laptop, configured for gaming and it does suffer from thermal throttling under intense use, but this has made a huge difference.My teenage son gives it the thumbs up, which is a much better recommendation than coming from me.

Felt almost no cool air when all 4 fans were running simultaneously; better to run 2 fans

1) a) This is a very large laptop cooler at 16" (W) x 12" (L) x 2.5" (H) (with foam).1) b) I thought this was going to be a normal sized laptop cooler.2) There are 4 fans in this laptop cooler. See attached image 1.3) a) This laptop cooler can be powered by the included power cord (round connector) or a USB-C cable.3) b) A USB-C charger will work (using a USB-C to USB-C cable).4) a) When using the included power cord, all 4 fans will run simultaneously.4) b) There is no way to change this to just use 2 fans.4) c) The problem is that I cannot feel much wind coming out of the laptop cooler.4) d) From the left 2 fans, I can feel a little bit of wind in the top right corner. See attached image 1.4) e) From the right 2 fans, I can feel a little bit of wind in the top left corner. See attached image 1.4) f) I thought the laptop cooler was broken at first.4) g) My guess is that the wind from the blue arrows is cancelling out the wind from the red arrows. See attached image 1.4) h) The fans can spin at a maximum of 4,000 RPMs.5) a) When plugging in a USB-C cable, only 2 fans will run at any given time.5) b) Either the fans from the blue arrows will run or the fans from the red arrows will run. See attached image 1.5) c) I can feel a lot of cool air coming out.5) d) The fans can spin at a maximum of 3,300 RPMs.6) a) The foam is held on magnetically.6) b) I'm unsure if the foam is better to leave on or take off.6) c) Maybe it depends on where the heat is on your laptop.7) The laptop cooler can be angled so that the monitor can be raised. There are 9 different modes for the lights.9) b) When changing the mode, the mode number will be displayed on the LCD.I can recommend this laptop cooler but I would suggest to only power this cooler via the USB-C port. It accommodates laptops up to 17 inches, and the sealed foam ensures everything stays properly cool, even when I’m not, whether I'm engaging with my students or trying to tuck my son into bed.The RGB lights add a touch of flair without dominating the living room, and I appreciated the extra USB ports since my tech know-how only extends to plugging things in. It’s not whisper-quiet, but the noise isn’t anywhere near a hooligan-level roar. You can even power it up in two ways, either via USB-C or a mains plug, which is quite handy.For anyone wanting to keep their laptop cooler than a Cardiff breeze, it’s worth the space on your desk despite any initial worries about the noise level. You might find the price a bit high, but then so is everything else these days, isn’t it?

Cools Like a Pro

Editing video means my laptop gets hot fast, so something like this is non-negotiable. I’ve gone through a few over the years and honestly, most do the same job once you hit a certain price point—but this one adds a little extra flair with built-in lights. I don’t game, but I could see the RGB vibe being a nice touch for short-form videos or just making your desk setup feel more alive.It cooled my laptop surprisingly fast and the fans are so quiet I had to double check they were even running. The lights, fan speeds, and power options all work well, though the ports are set a bit awkwardly if you use angled cables.My only gripe is the USB-A ports—they're there, but it’s unclear if they’re just for powering other devices or if they can actually transfer data. The instructions didn’t help much and I didn’t really have a reason to mess with them, so that part felt wasted on me. Also, between the main unit and the foam attachments, it’s a bit clunky—but once it’s set up, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and feels solid.
