5.0 out of 5 stars Huge Upgrade to my trusty V1 Robot
We've had one of the first model robot vacuums from the og manufacturer which has been a workhorse for us for years! It's the drunk uncle of robots though, no bells and whistles, just your basic robot that runs into everything but gets the job done in some random chaotic pattern. Seeing this on sale and finally just going for it to see how good newer models have gotten (no more separate virtual wall lazers, a nice easy to use app, no more bumping around clumsily!, and more). Well, long story short, they have gotten soooo much better and I'm incredibly glad I gave this one a try. It's is running flawlessly, cleans very well, i love the ease of the app and setting up no-go zones, and pretty much everything else has been an upgrade. Looking forward to many years of our new bot and a cleaner, less noisy, less drunk uncle of a bot around the house. (Don't worry, drunk uncle is still getting his time in down in the basement. He's old reliable at this point and will go as long as he wants to.) This is a great vac that performs wonderfully with all the functions and conveniences I need (i haven't tried the mopping function yet but didn't really buy it for that) at an incredible price point, esp when on sale. If you're looking to upgrade like I did, it's well worth it. If you're looking at your first robot and are unsure if it's something you really need.... trust me, get it. It will save you time, knock one thing off your million item to-do list, and will soon become something you are unsure why it took so long to try.

It's a 5. It's a 5 because it was under $200 and it actually works.I've waited months to write this review to make sure there weren't longevity problems like there have been with other brands. After about 7 months of use the worst thing that's happened is that it requires occasionally disassembly of the rollers to dislodge something the cats pulled into its path.Here's what I like:* App works, and is easy to set up* Vacuum itself works very well with the fuzz of two cats* It has kept the entire living area free of cat litter crystals* It's mapping feature is amazing. It helps it avoid getting stuck.* It was easy to set up and start using* It works on hard wood floors, and low pile carpet (haven't tried anything else)* It very rarely gets stuck* It hardly uses a charge to clean the entire living area, and since it homes itself, there's no worries about chargingAt the price-point, I can't really think of any cons.

Wondering if it picks up short-medium dog hair? It does! Amazingly! This thing is one of the best purchases we’ve made. We have an Australian shepherd/lab mix and he sheds terribly. A portion of our flooring is vinyl and it’s like it was almost staticy-attracting the dog hair and unless I swept daily and mopped with vinegar, the hair would be a constant problem. This vacuum is quiet, thorough, does great with dog hair on both the hard flooring and carpets and rarely gets stuck. (Sometimes it moves the door stop and the door closes) We also have a large transition piece in the middle of our house and the vacuum negotiates it very well. I appreciate that I can increase the suction power by means of the user friendly app. I do not use the mop function. It is not perfect the first two times it went around but after mapping and I have it clean once a day, it does a great job. My plan was to have the Roborock run around once a day and I would do a deep clean with our heavy vacuum twice a week but now I just quick mop after Roborock once a week and good enough! Saves so much time. Would definitely recommend!

So I have a love/hate thing for robot vacuums. I had a shark ion that failed, was factory replaced, than failed again after a year. I opened this one up yesterday, plugged in the base and stuck the robot on the charger. Tried to connect it to WiFi. Here's the thing: initially you select YOUR home Wi-Fi. Then my phone had a pop up. YOU NEED TO SELECT THAT THEN PICK THE ROBOTS WI-FI AS WELL. After a full charge, I ran a map scan. This thing brilliantly scanned my apartment and gave me a layout of the rooms. It took maybe 10-15 minutes. I ran a full clean and one day after running my upright across the entire apartment, the robot picked up enough to fill the relatively big dirt compartment. My St Bernard is shedding and the shark ion was not picking up much of her fluff. This roborock seemed to do much better, even at the normal suction level. There are 5 suction levels and the regular one is MUCH quieter than the ion I threw out. It took around 40 minutes to do the whole apartment and it runs an effective pattern, like when mowing a lawn. It talk when something occurs, like starting a clean or opening the dirt reservoir. It does seem to get stuck on cables and wires so add a zone for it to avoid them. I haven't tried the mop attachment yet but for $220 with the Bolo coupon this is a no brainer.

Perfect addition for our apartment with cat
The media could not be loaded. This robo vacuum cleaner is so great. We live in a smaller condo with one cat. Cleaning hair and litter after cat took too much time, and I decided to give a try for a robot vacuum cleaner. I’ve never had this kind of tech before, and was amazed by how well it works.Setup was easy and user friendly, application is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Very easy to use, has a maintenance information, map of your apartment. It also lets you to create a no-go zones, map furniture etc. Also, you can choose which zone you want to clean (for example, from time to time I need to clean washrooms and half of the hall way after cat).It has a mop that maybe is not great for a deep cleaning, but doing a great job with some light cleaning.It doesn’t have a self cleaning option, but I don’t really need it.Overall, in my small apartment it works perfect. Very happy with this purchase
Best thing for a condo!
This robot vacuum is truly a lifesaver! For the price, it offers outstanding value. It features convenient timed scheduling, allowing you to set cleaning sessions according to your needs. One of the best aspects is the detachable mop function, which can easily be attached or removed for those times when you want to alternate between vacuuming and mopping. While you do need to empty the dustbin after each use, it cleans exceptionally well, navigating around furniture and reaching corners with ease. Overall, it gets the job done efficiently and effectively!

It works
My first robo-vacuum of any kind.I was surprised at how easy it was to set it up, get it connected to the home wifi network, get it to map my house, get it to start on a daily schedule.It works well, it communicates well, it is very easy to clean the small dust bin.The attached cloth that mops the floors is easy to remove and needs to be washed often.It vacuums very well, and the only spots I noticed it misses stuff is when it goes from a hard surface to a rag (slightly higher) and back.It does the cleaning and then it goes back to base, just like musk's spaceship .. lolGood vacuum for a good price (especially when you find it on special).
