Got this to use temporarily to help with wheelchair access in and out of the home. This is quite sturdy but there is a weight limit, keep that in mind with the weight of a person AND their chair. I like that this is portable and you can pick it up and go with the handle. It's not too heavy and pretty easy to move around. The tape is a good safety feature to identify where the edges are and the grip on the surface provides good traction for control. Pay attention to the chart when ordering the length. The 2 ft length may be a bit steep for a manual wheelchair.

It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! I have several large potted plants that come in during the winter and out during warm weather. As I got into my 70’s, getting the plants in and out became increasingly more difficult. I bought a roller platform which helped get them from one side of the house to the other. But, I still had to pick them up and carry them 3-4 feet to get them over the front and back thresholds. I had bought a nice plastic ramp, but it has spikes on the topside (for traction?) and it didn’t work with the wheels (and, it takes up a lot of garage space). This ramp, not only feels more sturdy, it’s the exact size for my doors! I can prop it up in the sunroom, run the plant on its trolley up to the great room level, them move the ramp to the front door, and move the plant down to the front porch. Couldn’t be easier. (Of course, I still have to lift the plant 4” onto the trolley, but this is soooo much more manageable. To top it off, the ramp folds, has a handle, and has two cotter pins that can keep it closed in transport or storage. It’s fairly lightweight. And, it has nice traction and side rails to keep my trolley wheels from sliding off. I think this ramp costs about the same as my plastic set, but this set is infinitely more desirable. FYI, it’s about 6.5” from my sunroom to the great room and likewise from the great room to the front porch. I guess it’s time to donate my old ramp. I love this new ramp!

This is a fantastic 2-foot threshold ramp! It makes the transition through our patio door much smoother and easier, but the ramp only protrudes two feet out onto our deck. It has a textured surface for better traction, which really makes a huge difference in wet or snowy weather, and side rails for safety. The side rails have reflective stickers to help make sure you stay on the ramp and don't accidentally drive off the sides. With a width of 29 inches, I thought this ramp was a bit more narrow than others I own, especially since my wheelchair is 27 inches wide. But I took some quick measurements for comparison, and it turns out I was wrong. This guy is as wide as most other portable ramps out there. The last nice feature I want to mention is that it folds up and is surprisingly lightweight and easy to transport. My husband and I are in the market for a new home, and we have taken this ramp with us when we go to see a house for sale. It helps get over an awkward step without anybody having to lift my chair. All in all, I think this is a good ramp for a very fair price! Every wheelchair user should have at least a couple of these, IMO.

This ramp was surprisingly well made with high quality aluminum. It also sports a handle that makes it easy to carry around. I was impressed with how well made it is and how well it functioned. It has a ‘lip’ on each end that allows a smooth transition from floor to ramp when you are going up, and from the upper step to ramp when going down. The upper lip also serves to secure the ramp to the step.It comes with a handle that is revealed when it is folded in half. This makes it super easy to carry and allows you to remove it and store it out of the way. Tip: Keep the heavy duty cardboard box and the plastic bag it came in for storing it when not in use. I was super pleased with the quality of material and construction. It is well worth the price. Highly recommended.
