It really works well if you want fine grind, which I do - basically powdered salt. I cannot tell any difference between the coarse grind and fine. It doesn't look like it has a spring that comes in contact with the salt. That has been a weak point in similar grinders I have had in the past. The salt corrodes the spring when humidity is high. I would have given it 5 stars, but it said that it was adjustable but this isn't. It is 5 stars for my use, because it is perfect for my salt and I plan to order a set of 2 soon.

Nice litter pepper mill. The functionality is good, made of good material, and works well. the size is nice for space saving and small hands. The grind accuracy is good, it is a good weight to hold in your hands, and a good value. The lid is a little difficult to remove.
