For one reason or another, I always end up doing weekend jobs on my own roof, or that of a friend or family member. Sometimes at surprising heights, with or without scaffolding. Always homeowner stuff that OSHA doesn't regulate. I feel better about that this year, since I picked up this harness and some appropriate safety lines.This harness is the real deal. It adjusts across a nice range of sizes for a comfortable, secure fit. The harness itself is impressively lightweight for its strength. At 225 lbs, I am well within the working limits of the harness. The addition of the waist belt and positioning D-rings means this works for some tasks I would not have attempted previously.Used properly, this harness does its job well. Proper use of this harness, however, is not intuitive. Do not just "figure it out". The equipment is well-documented and most counties in the U.S. can refer you to proper training resources. It's not that expensive or difficult to learn, but it's worth everything on the day it makes the difference that means you get to go home safely to your family.

I'm a homeowner, not in the trades, and even though we have a very convenient hospital, I prefer to avoid visiting it. I just don't bounce like I used to. So, I take safety pretty seriously. This might be overkill for a homeowner, but I have some roof work and second story window replacement to deal with. I had the rest of the safety gear, but I needed the harness to attach it all to.It's a really well made harness. It is incredibly solid. You could probably tow a car with the buckles and D-rings. The webbing is very heavy and well stitched. Do be aware that the two black D rings at chest level are plastic and aren't intended for anything but tools. I'm on the shorter and lighter end of the stated fit range, but based on how much additional range the buckles have, I'd say that the sizing chart is probably accurate. If you fall in there, this harness should fit you.Buckling in and setting it up takes a bit of time at first, but you want these things fit right. It's probably not as convenient to get in and out of as some of the models that have clip-style buckles. But, I trust these more. I know that nothing important will be loosening up over time. No loose ends getting in the way either. I'm not all the way at the smallest settings, but I'm pretty close to it and the ends of the webbing tuck in and stay out of the way. Movement isn't impaired much at all and you still feel very secure. I do like that the waist pad is removable, but its comfortable, so and I don't see myself taking advantage of that feature.Have yet to check if I can wear my tool belt with it, but I don't anticipate any issues there. It's reasonably priced. It fits well, moves well, and is very solid. I would definitely recommend this harness.

These harnesses are some of the most well made and durably sewn that I have ever seen. All the hardware the straps and all the fabrics are of the highest quality. Thick and made to endure overtime. This is the kind of harness that you want protecting you. They are easy to use and they fit as they should. If it comfortably and not tight and awkward.

Alright, fall protection, this is not an area to play around with. I grabbed this for some tree work at home, the remainder of my experience is with basic fall protection harnesses whereas this is a full body harness.Interesting this, I like what I see. ANSI stamps and weight ratings on the important parts. Indicators to show if a fall has happened and caused the deceleration sections to activate (expand). Stitching style and quality matches the harnesses my employer provides. Big difference for me? The nice padded straps and padded lumbar section, MUCH more comfortable for longer work sessions or if you are leaning into the harness using the belt loops.Overall very nicely done, I'm glad I was able to get it, and I feel safe trusting this harness. I how that helps anyone visiting this harness.

I'm a homeowner using this harness to occasionally clime a 70’ radio tower. I'll probably find some additional roof work to do now that I have it. I’m 6’2" 190lb and it fits me well. Comfortable and sturdy. Takes some time to get it on and make the adjustments but you probably shouldn't be rushing on tasks like this anyhow.

The harness has large belt buckles and gromets that make it easy to adjust and obtain a comfortable and secure fit. The harness has a large D-ring located between the back shoulders for fall arrest, two D-rings located on each shoulder for climbing applications, and two D-rings located on each hip for work positioning. I only use the fall arrest D-ring for the work that I do.This safety harness is built strong, is made of high-quality materials and meets ANSI and OSHA safety standards. The harness is designed to support a person weighing between 130 and 310 pounds with a waist size between 32 and 45-inches.
