These are a little longer, more stretchy than my others. Was looking for a pair of shorts to attend a local golf tournament that look dressy but casual feel. Nice touches with the pockets excellent zipper, they washed up nicely 2XXL was recommended for my new size 38 waist, I am 5’9”. Looking for my G GRADUAL sponsorship, lol! Buy any Gradual shorts or shirts, you will not be disappointed!
4.0 out of 5 stars Performance-y stretch-y artificial-y fabric makes these a polarizing choice
This is a pair of golf shorts in an uncommon performance-style fabric with a bit of stretchiness. It reminds me of the material that 'performance polos' are often made out of - slightly artificial feeling, fairly wrinkle resistant, and a bit stretchy. I tested them in the "Tibetan Blue" color, and I think that was actually a great choice because it's not a color you have built in expectations about fabric appearance for, so the artificial uniformity of it looks intentional. I think I'd prefer buying these in a similar unusual color rather than typical khaki.Fit is pretty good, and I felt like the 2XL was comfortable and generous. The waistband has quite a bit of stretch and give to it, so these should be pretty forgiving for most people. They're definitely on the 'athletic' side of things, but you could easily go between a golf course and casual restaurant meal with these without raising any eyebrows design-wise... I still prefer to wear other pairs of shorts when I'm not planning on an athletic activity, though.I'm not sure I'd build a whole wardrobe out of these and the price is pushing the boundaries for what these are compared to what my local big-box warehouse store charges for shorts... but the unusual fabric is something different to round out your wardrobe and I've enjoyed having these as part of my repertoire.

These shorts fit well and the color is really nice, but the fabric wasn't exactly what I was expecting. They are lightweight and have good features like the pockets and expandable waistband, so they work well for everyday wear, but I just wish the material felt a little different.
