I purchased this for my grandaons birthday. His birthday party was June 22. He opened the box and the whole bottom of the hover craft fell off. My window to return is closed and I have something that won't work and a grandchild that doesn't have a working gift. I need to go and get another present for him. Very very upset

I got this for my ten year old. There was absolutely a learning curve, and I'm really glad he was wearing wrist pads when he tried it. It seems solidly built, and worked as expected. Battery like is ok - I don't know about a three mile distance on it, but it does work for riding around the neighborhood.This is the first hoverboard we have had, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. That said, it doesn't feel junky and disposable, so I'm hoping it will last a long time. My son is getting a lot of use out of it. The lights are pretty cool.Here's the scale I'm using for my ratings:⭐️ 1 star= Nope! I not recommended. It’s poorly made, or not what it’s listed to be.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming qualities, would not buy again.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = Meh. It's passable. Might not be worth the price.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Good, but there’s something off⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Yes! Exactly what it should be.* I do my best to give an honest review as if I had paid the listed price, but there is an inherent bias when items are received at reduced cost.

Our younger two kids have been having fun with this. Technically they're both ALREADY over the weight limit as it turns out but doesn't seem to be hurting it. (This is not legal advice, I am not your lawyer, misuse may invalidate your warranty, etc. etc.)The youngest who really uses it the most hasn't really complained about anything. Nothing particularly notable really, it "just works" and we haven't minded it around the house.

My kiddo has had a blast with this thing. It holds a charge for a decent amount of time. It took some getting used to, but once he got the hang of it, I can hardly get him off it. I don't know a lot about these things, but this one seems well made. Very happy with this!
