Just got Remnants of Filth and I’m so excited to begin reading soon. The edition looks great, and I can’t wait to dive into the story.

Lovely writing, as always. I had read this story before it was Eng published, so I knew the ending. There were some things that left me wanting more, especially between Mo Xi and Gu Mang. I realized I had really been hoping for more papapa. I really appreciated being able to read Meatbun's thoughts on this series! I would love to hear more from her with every book, as she seems like a really likeable person.For this project I am so happy they chose St/akkaccel! Each illustration was beautiful and the covers are sooo well fitting for each volume. You can tell they really put a lot of thought and effort into this. I really enjoyed checking what she drew for different scenes.I can't say I recommend purchasing the special edition unless you want the postcards. As always, the stickers and poster are subpar. I think the inner full color illustration would make for a better wall poster. I have a long lasting beef with Seven Seas as they have horrible art standards and often horrible graphic design as well. I'm glad they didn't do Meatbun dirty as they've done others.

Making a new tomorrow ...
After the storm of battle and the grief of loss plus input from an initially vacuous immortal and a magic stone, our heroes are watching the stars and making a new tomorrow with Murong Lian of all people.I enjoyed the extra story that took place in their youth when Gu Mang and Mo Xi were disciples together. I have found this altogether an immensely readable and enjoyable magical adventure. If I feel that the author did not evolve this work with the same intricacy as Dumb Husky, it is not a complaint because it was still a good story.I especially enjoyed the 'Afterword'. The author felt some need to explain how this book was written, apparently not to the standard that Meatbun would have chosen. It was fascinating to share the mind, thoughts and self-criticism of the actual author but I still loved the story. I think the main characters' relationship was very well worked and I especially enjoyed the description of how Murong Lian's character seemed to take on his own presence. Well, he's that kind of a guy.
