I was glad to find out I was using the kind of pimple patches that dermatologists recommend. My skin care basket MUST have these. The blend so well with your skin, you can’t even tell they are there!

These pimple patches by Thayers are made from 100% hydrocolloid and definitely work in terms of helping speed up the pimple healing process. These pimple patches work best when your pimple is ripe enough. If you stick these pimple patches on when your pimples are not ripe enough yet, they will not do anything, and it would be a waste of a pimple sticker. You know when your pimple is ripe when it comes to a head and has that little white spot. When it's ripe, I would stick this pimple patch overnight and typically by the time I wake up, the pimple patch will have absorbed all the gunk from my pimple. You will know that it worked if you see your pimple patch turn white. Sometimes it might take an extra night for the gunk to come out. When you stick these pimple patches on, make sure your face is freshly washed without any face products or else they won't stick as well. Given what the Thayers brand is known for (natural remedies and herbal extracts), I would think that they would infuse some natural ingredients into this pimple patch to help speed up the healing process even more. But to my disappointment, they did not add any additional active ingredient to this pimple patch despite what their brand stands for so I took off a star.

I am an avid user of acne patches. These honestly weren't my favorite. Most patches are one single layer. I find them to be more invisible to wear and they seem to work better.These are a little thicker, almost like they have two layers. The soak up fluids fine but I don't feel like they work as well.They are definitely not as invisible. I like to wear these types at night.Overall, they aren't a bad choice. I personally like the thinner options but these are fine.

I love how well this patch works to absorb gunk and prevent me from picking and making skin problems worse. But there’s a huge drawback to me ordering them again.. they aren’t budget friendly at all. I can’t believe there’s only one sheet (22 patches) in this box. I’ve tried other hydrocolloid patches that work just as well and receive 3x as many patches for the same price.

These hydrocolloid patches do work pretty well. I feel like they did help my blemishes go away a lot faster than they would have without them. The downside, they are not as invisible as they claim to be.

I have never used anything like these before so I didn’t know what to expect. I don’t break out often usually just around that time of the month. As soon as I head a break out, I put it on that night and it went down significantly.. I was shocked!! Definitely will be using these from now on.
