I needed a good pair for corrections work: pat downs, searches, response situations. Bought the size large because they didn't have a medium option.Not the most articulate gloves. I have a lot of space in the thumb compared to the other fingers. They came in on the stiff side but can be broken in in a day. Terrible for pat downs as I can't feel much unless it's a larger object, and I don't feel comfortable enough to use them to cuff someone as there's little dexterity. Wish I could've sized down so I didn't feel like i have grinch fingers. I have a lot of confidence in the material and craftsmanship otherwise. Still my go to when razors are involved.
