So many options for glucosamine supplements, but not many have a decent dose of MSN/MSM which is important for it to be effective. This one has a pretty decent dosage. Do i know if it is really doing anything? No. But what I do know is this: I am a runner. I have been running for 20+ years. I am getting older (43 years old) and have recently started having issues with my hip joints. I already have been diagnosed with having FAI impingement in my hips. I recently suffered a labral tear in my right hip which sidelined me from running for a month until the pain calmed down and i could walk pain free. This injury does not heal on its own and would require surgery to repair. But, if it is not severe, it can be managed with some strength training around the hip joint, and some modification of running form. I haven't done any strength training, but i did start taking this glucosamine supplement, and less than a week after starting it, i went out on my first light run. I have since completed 4 more light runs. I can still "feel" the area of injury sometimes when running, but it is not a pain feeling and it does not progress into pain, and it subsides almost immediately after completing the run. I am hoping to prolong surgery as long as possible. It could be a placebo effect, it could just be me managing the injury. But either way, i have been able to get back to running, albeit light, after starting this supplement, so i am not changing anything.

I got these Glucosamine Chondroitin Gummies with MSM & Elderberry Extra Strength as I have been taking glucosamine and MSM for many many years and wanted to try a presentation other than the huge pills that I take.While I love the gummy presentation as it makes the intake much easier, I am removing 2 stars in the rating of the product as it is very concerning for me to see inconsistencies when supplement have discrepancies in their description. For instance, when I read the Supplements Facts label I see that the concentration of Glucosamine, MSM, and Chondroitin is 3000/500/800 mgs while the description on the listing says 1500/500/200 mgs; so what am I taking? the difference is significant and creates doubts on the product.
