It is a must in our house for keeping the microwave clean.It's so much easier to give the splatter shield a quick wash rather than trying to scrub the ceiling of the microwave.We also leave the microwave door open for a little while to make sure it is dry before closing the door.Otherwise the creases and corners will end up rusting.That's what happened to our previous microwave.I've only seen the shield in this size.It fits a large microwave.I highly recommend it.

We rented a house on vacation that had one of these in the microwave. I thought, “Good idea”. I used it the entire time we were in the house. Never had to clean up splatters. So I bought one when we got home. Works great. And it’s big enough to cover most dishes. I’ve not experienced any splatters or microwave “explosions”. If something in there does erupt, no need to wipe out the inside of the microwave. Just wash the cover. Easy peasy.In the rental house the magnets didn’t adhere to the microwave top for storage. I guess the inside material wasn’t amenable to them. At home they stuck better, but not 100% because of the shape of the inside’s top. But I’m not taking any stars off for that. Just place it on the rotating plate when not in use.Of course it can get hot from the steam from the food, but the handles on the sides take care of that and you can lift it off without burning your fingers.

It stays in the microwave and just drops down over your plate or container.. no spattering in the microwave..just drop it in the sink to clean !!Awesome product !!!!

I am so glad someone made a microwave cover with magnets so you can keep it out of the way. The only problem is if you slam the door too hard, the food cover comes off the roof of the microwave. Maybe the magnets aren't strong enough or my microwave is not as magnetized as I thought?? Anyway, it is better than having a food cover that is not magnetized and then ends up on the kitchen counter.

Unfortunately it did not adhere to the top of my microwave, or on any side as the pictures showed. I don't know why the magnets did not work in my oven. I was going to return it, but offered it to my daughter instead. She said it works perfectly in her microwave oven. Oh well, I guess I'll try a cheaper one.
