Good enough, but not worth the money. I don't think soft baked and a long shelf-life, are compatible, if you want a delicious product. I bought these as an experiment, because if anyone could make this work, I would think Tate's might have a good shot. They have large, delicious chocolate chips and more of them than their crispy cookies and other brands. The quality is top notch. However, they're too salty, compared to other brands and their own, crispy ones. They're packaged in a way that they stick together and are a bit of a challenge to separate. They have that classic, doughy, crumbly, weird, almost clay-ajacent texture I've experienced in every single other soft-baked cookie I've tried from a big brand. That's not without its charms, but at this price, I'll stick to crispy or place and bake cookies. I'll inhale them this time, but I won't repurchase.

First of all Tate's CRISP cookies are some of the best tasting cookies of all time. Salted perfectly, heavy on the butter, light on the sugar, with strong flavors of browned and caramelized sugar.Tate's Soft Baked are surprisingly bad. Specifically, they lack the browning necessary for good flavor. They don't taste buttery at all. And when I took the chocolate out and ate it separately it had neither the texture nor the flavor of chocolate.Two stars for being fresh, and for being soft as advertised.
