Replaced the probe with 1 of these and now after 1 week the Cooler is now working like before. A failed temperature probe seems to bbe a common probblem with some Primo Water coolers. This provided a cheap fix. Have 3 left for any future reoccurance of the problem. The plug was different but easy to cut the existing pluged in wire and splice the one in.

These 10k sensor probes can be used in many applications. I used these to make my own temp sensors to monitor water temps on my PC. Simply take a plastic G1/4 thread plug and drill hole in center slightly smaller then sensor itself so it fits snug.Just a tip the sensor has two wires one is the temp signal and other is ground so make sure they are connected right by looking up motherboard manual.

These are impressive thermometer probes. They're fairly small in size and seem to be fairly accurate.The response time to temperature changes is very fast. Clamping the probe inside my hand made the temperature rise 15 degrees in just a few seconds. Releasing it returned back to room temperature in just seconds. Many thermometer probes I've used will take a few minutes to adjust to a sudden temperature change, so the quick response is a plus for me!The cable, while somewhat thin, still seems to be reasonably sturdy and is around 3 feet long. While I would have preferred it to be a bit thicker wire gauge and a little more length, it's definitely a reasonable size for such low cost probes.They do the job that I needed them for, so I'm very satisfied.
