I was very hopeful about refinishing a table stand when this arrived as the print was very pretty and accurate to the advertisement. The only other positive thing is that it’s very sticky so I’m sure this could hold up well.I didn’t realize that it was warped which created a bunch of ripples and made it difficult to apply. The ripples are not super visible, but if you purchase this to cover a floor? You’ll definitely notice it.It was difficult to cut. The top layer cut just fine, but the sticky backing did not. I used a new blade to cut it so it was the product not the blade. The ridges look horrendous because I couldn’t get it to cut correctly. I nicked the wood in one spot trying to clean up the edge. I tried scissors which worked better at first, but they got too gunked up and broke when I tried to open them to clean them.There is a clear plastic film you peel to reveal the sticky side. It was difficult to remove. I kept pulling the sticky stuff off the top vinyl side trying to get the plastic off.Overall, it was a major pain to work with and didn’t produce a great outcome, and now have to replace my scissors. Save your money and find something else.

If you roll and do not fold this item it is great. Every time I needed to adjust by making a fold there is a permanent crease.

The wood grain pattern looks much nicer in person—way more realistic than the usual cheap vinyl stickers. It definitely feels thicker and a little more rigid, which actually made it easier to lay flat without bubbling or stretching. Cutting it was simple with a utility knife, and the backing peeled off cleanly without fighting me. I love that there’s an aluminum foil layer because my laundry space gets damp sometimes, and so far, it’s held up perfectly—no peeling corners or warping. I did notice a few wrinkles when I first unrolled it, but they smoothed out with a little pressure and didn’t mess with the stickiness at all. Walking on it barefoot feels comfortable, and it doesn’t get slick when wet. Overall, this has been a budget-friendly way to refresh the floor without committing to something permanent, and I’m already thinking about grabbing another roll to cover my pantry next.

As a result of my usage of it, our modest office area now appears to have been taken straight from a home magazine!When it comes to application, the self-adhesive design makes it quite simple. You just peel, stick, and smooth it down; there is no adhesive, no nails, and no mess involved. In the span of just one afternoon, I was able to complete the floor to my own satisfaction. The backing has a firm grip that truly remains in place after it is applied, and it cuts quickly and neatly with a utility knife.In particular, the beautiful and authentic appearance of the wood grain is something that truly astonished me. The surface has a slight grain feel that is reminiscent of actual wood, so it is not simply a printed design! The guests have even inquired as to whether or not it is hardwood!The layer of aluminum foil provides additional moisture protection, making it a great choice for spaces such as the kitchen or bathroom. The thickness of the vinyl gives additional comfort and insulation. I've already had a couple accidents, and cleaning them up was quite simple, and there were no visible traces of damage.Another thing that I like about it is how well it can withstand the effects of wear and tear. A number of weeks have passed, and despite the presence of pets, rolling office chairs, and foot activity, everything still appears to be the same as new. Furthermore, because it is water-resistant and simple to clean, I do not have to worry about the problems that occur on a daily basis.
