There were no missing pieces, and all the parts were stored in numbered bags, so I didn't need to dump 1000+ pieces into a bucket and go fishing every time I needed one.The build quality of the pieces was excellent, which is often hit or miss with non-Lego building kits, and they fit together with a satisfying click. Thanks to the very detailed, photo-heavy manual, assembly was a snap.A well made kid, fun for all ages, that also looks great and is a great value for the money. Highly recommend!

Giving it 4 stars simply on price (approx $40) alone, but I wouldn't consider this a collectors item or a true interpretation of the Titanic. For one, the bow of the ship awkwardly attaches to the remainder and doesn't look seamless. The masts don't look authentic and adding some string could have gone a long way it making it appear more historical. The propellers are not true to scale or even design, but I guess that's all you can do with stock "Lego" design parts. Overall it's a good build for kids and it makes a great gift.

My grandson is a Titanic fanatic! He also loves Lego building block type toys. This is a perfect combination of both. That being said this is rated as a 3/5 difficulty but I think it's pretty advanced. He will certainly require help. Good thing there are lots of pictures because the text is in Chinese. The box only opens on the end but I sure wish it hinged open like a pizza box. It would make finding the right package a whole lot easier. You also have to read the packaging closely. It's difficult to find the specific numbers. The large numbers on the package say assembly one two or three but there are small printed dark numbers that respond to the actual step of the project. There are nearly 1500 pieces in total.

I love this product because it really has a gorgeous design and can be used by young kids or even by adult enthusiasts. It is definitely a nice gift and assembly is as expected due to good instructions that come along with it. Good value and nice size. The detail is stunning. Great quality bricks.

10yo Grandson really is into LEGOs so this seemed a great Grandpa and Grandson project for an upcoming rainy dayLabelled 'mini blocks" they look a lot like LEGOs. 1471 pcs and marked 4 out of 5 difficulty, but Grandson has assembled Millennium Falcon so should be ok.But you might want to check your 'build partner' past assembly history with parent etc..Just to assure it won't be overwhelming.No reason not to give 5 stars at his point1471 pc LEGO-like project - 4/5 difficulty. Check experience first.

I got this for my Grandson's 9th birthday. He's been on a Titanic kick for the last several months and loves playing with regular branded building blocks (I won't put their name in this review since this is not a compatible set). He's super excited about it and got right to work on it. He's not finished, but is working with these smaller scale pieces just fine.

Titanic Boat Model Building Block Set, 1465 Pieces Cruise Ship Model, DIY Educational Titanic Toys for 8+ is a fun set for kids and adults who enjoy assembling kits and like Titanic-themed items. It does require patience and skill with small pieces. It was a challenging yet fun project for an 8-year-old (with adult help). But the end results were beautiful! More affordable than the "name brand" set.
