So glad I went with this particular waffle maker, easy to clean, great size, looks fine on the countertop, matches my other appliances, easy to use. Delivers a good size ( adult size ? A whole size waffle. Also; the cook time is fast! I prefer my waffles crispy on the edges and add walnuts to my batter , first time I used too much batter and it felt like it took forever to get crisp edges. Used less batter afterwards and still felt the a single waffle made with less batter was just as substantial and filling as the first and much faster to cook. Def recommend playing around with that to discover your desired preference

This waffle maker is cool. It looks good, cooks a mean waffle in short order and it is fun to flip. Only thing I don't like about it is the cleaning. The grids don't pop out, or maybe I am slow and couldn't figure it out....dad code...that extra paper in the box is silly and a waste of time! Super improvement for model 2.0 would be to have the ability to remove the grids from the appliance so they could wash easier. Just don't over fill the thing and life is easier! Great waffle maker and allows for some creative dances when you are ready to do the flip. Great for dads, less great for teenagers!

I searched all through the various waffle makers and decided to try this one.I'm glad I did. It is simple to use and simple to clean. Do not use cooking spray as advised in the instructions. I tried a little oil, applied with a silicon brush and tried making waffles without.There is no need to use anything as the ceramic coating is pretty non-stick on its own.There is no temperature control. Just watch for the amount of steam created and and get used to the desired doneness from there. No steam makes about the right doneness.I make waffle batter in two cup amounts. It makes two 1 cup waffles...One for today and one for toasting later.And I do like the 'fold up' feature for convenient, space saving storage.

I can confidently say this is the best home waffle maker out there and at the price it's a steal. The shape of this waffle maker is much thicker than most thin flat style home waffle makers and makes all the difference. The waffles are a great size and comparable to restaurant sized waffles. The waffle maker is so easy to use and flip and the clever upright storage button is very helpful. I add a small amount of oil to whatever batter I make and have have waffles that come out perfectly and easily every time.

Great purchase. The waffles come out great every time. Cleanup is a breeze. My kids have fun flipping the waffles and seeing them come out. The waffles are so think and fluffy. Love that it locks into and upright position for storage.

This is perfect for those interested in great waffles and a space-saving, beautiful appliance. I was concerned that it would be too small (like the dash mini waffle maker) or too large/not as promised re: space savings or not make great waffles. I had nothing to worry about. I have three hungry, picky kids, and they love these waffles, they come out crispy in a matter of minutes. For this price, you really cannot beat this waffle maker.

The color is great, I love that it stores upright but also the quick directions are a great touch to get started right away! I love the quick flip and white light indicating it’s ready. I made 6 waffles so fast (Cheryl Day for the best waffle recipe btw). It’s a must have in any home !
'no forever chemicals' interior, produces crispy thick waffles
So far I love this waffle maker - even though expensive, it met my criteria of not having a teflon interior. I oiled it before the first use and have used it weekly for a month since then and never had to oil it again. The flip feature seems to help the waffle loosen once it is fully cooked. I do leave the waffle in for another 30-60 seconds after the 'done' light comes on. It has a 'store standing up' feature which I also like - takes up very little room in the pantry. The waffles come out crispy and deep like Belgian waffles.
Stopped working
If I could leave less than one star I would have, stopped working less than one month after purchasing.
Great waffle maker
I bought this for my 11 year old who loves to cook. It is so easy to use and makes great waffles. I like how it is made without toxins and it is compact for storage.
Bad experience-Disappointing
Very bad experience. Stopped working second time of using the item. This was my second time buying same item to give it a try but hopelessly disappointing
Dirty/used
I waited over a month for this waffle iron to come in only to open it up and find a used, dirty waffle iron in the box. Dried batter and Greece all over it. Extremely disappointed and disgusted.
