It works just as well as the versions which look a little like tongs (holding on both handles to scrape). I bought the blue handled one but they should work the same no matter the color chosen. I read a review from someone who hurt their tongue on it but they may have applied too much pressure I’m guessing? I like mine. I did notice that depending on the way you are holding your handle, one side dips more slightly downwards which I’m guessing is the angle of best contact with your tongue as your scraping? Perhaps the other side is equally as effective as well? On my previous tongue scraper, the metal part was level no matter which way it was held and worked well regardless. I used it a second time holding it the opposite way from the first time just now so I just confirmed it works well no matter what. This tongue scraper is great for travel. The design makes it pretty compact. Highly recommended!

So I got this Tongue Buddy for a few different reasons. Chief among them was my focus on my own oral hygiene. I hated how my tongue looked and so I decided to change that. This product helps me to effectively remove the nasty gunk from my tongue with ease. As you can see, it's quite effective. At just a few bucks, I got many times the value of this purchase just from the quality alone, so it's definitely a great value. The exceptional design of this product fits in my hand very ergonomically, making tongue scraping a pain-free experience as it removes the unhealthy bacteria from my tongue. 5 Stars all the way.

Younger scraper is very large and I’m a big guy. Don’t like the texture of the scraper as it is to ruff for my tongue. Package came secure and with everything that was pictured.

Scrapes the tongue.👍 I was hoping it would also scrape the roof of my mouth – so if you’re wondering about cleaning the roof of your mouth, now you know it doesn't do that.

When I think of tongue buddy this wasn’t the first thing that came to mind but it’s appropriately named because this scraper is very friendly to my tongue. Gets rid of all the ick and germs leaving my mouth amazingly fresh! I like the size of the handle and the grip. Glad I have my tongue buddy.

After brushing my tongue first (because I’m a little OCD like that), I don’t see much come off when I use this—but maybe that’s a good thing? Or maybe the real grime is invisible, like bacteria’s ghost. A good reusable tool

A very good reusable tongue scraper. Stainless steel edge is deburred and we'll polished. The handle is a good size and of hard plastic (as opposed to rubbery textured plastic which typically seems more prone to degrading or becoming sticky).Rated 5 stars at the £9.99 I paid. At £14.99 as it currently is I would revise this to 4 stars although I think it now may come with a pouch. The packaging was nice if excessive, as I would have preferred this to be priced lower in simpler/smaller packaging.Having a one-piece stainless version in a similar style would have been my preferred choice, but I didn't like any of the options available at the time. This was the best one I could find and I'm happy with it.

The quality of this scraper is amazing! It’s comfortable to hold, super effective, and has a sleek design. I use it twice a day, and my mouth has never felt cleaner. Much better than the cheap plastic one I used to use!

Poor packaging

Box came with bugs inside. The adhesive on the packaging failed and the box was loosely open. The scraper itself works but looks worn / yellowed despite being sold as new. Bolo is so dodgy these days I’m put off ordering from here again.

I’ve tried plenty of things to tackle bad breath, but this actually makes a difference. My mouth feels fresher for much longer, and it’s made me feel a lot more confident. It’s really easy to use, and the design is much sturdier and more effective than the flimsy scrapers I’ve used before.
