So glad I didn't listen. Someone gave me tons of scrapbooking card making items. It included about 40 embossing folders. There were some Sizzix, some Cuttlebug Provo craft and some Darice. Some were plastic some were metal. I couldn't afford to buy an expensive machine and almost got rid of them. Then I found this wonderful, fantastic, glorious machine. All my embossing folders worked beautifully. I just had to adjust the plates for them to all work. Then I tried the die cutting...so so nice. I'm so happy with this machine. And it came with everything to start with for a beginner. It even had some clear stamps. I'm so happy this machine works for me, I never would have bought the more expensive ones. This one seems very sturdy and I trust it's going to last a long time. The only thing I wish I could find out is where I can get the plates from to have extras. Buy this die cutting/embossing machine with complete confidence. It's excellent for a first timer because everything you need is included for you to dive right in. Thank for making a machine that fits the expensive guys dies and folders.

Love this machine! It’s easy to use and comes with everything you need. The only thing to note: when you use does to cut paper it will make an impression on the plastic plates. It’s not a bad thing per say as they are still useable but just know that every time you use it, it will cause the top plate to have a cut of the shape imprinted on it so it makes “scarring”. I’m sure other machines do the same.

This die cutting machine works very well and only takes about 30 seconds to set up. The instructions are clear and cover everything I needed to know. I ordered this for trying out textures on the custom sports cards I make and it does add a nice new layer of texture. The only thing with it is that everything it comes with is very basic, lack luster designs, and corny quotes and die cuts. It's great for trying out new things, but I could never see myself seriously using any of the included accessories for any of my projects.Other than that, it works well and appears to be well made, a few of the stickers for the branding were peeling off but I just pressed them back down. All in all it works as intended but I will have to search for some texture pads and die cuts that would work with this before I can seriously use it for my own projects.

EDIT: The seller reached out to me and was so nice. First of all, there are 2 magnetic plates included, not just one, so that was making my stack bigger than it had to be. I could not see that there were 2 until I put it under a bright lamp, and even after I found out, they were incredibly difficult to separate, but I did it. Secondly, I realized they recommend using individual shims of paper to thicken the stack if needed. I'm enjoying playing with this! Making sure the plates are stacked correctly, centered, and then rolling it is a little challenging at times, but I also need more practice. I think it is a 4 star product, but given that so many sellers don't even bother to reach out and try to help someone, any seller who does always gets an extra star from me. So I edited from 3 stars to 5 stars. I'm confident if I ever have future issues, this seller will help. Thank you!I like this, and it's fun to use and cuts and embosses very well, but there is a magnetic plate that was included, and it's basically useless. There is no combination of other plates I can stack together that isn't either too small so nothing happens when I try to roll it through or too high that it won't even begin rolling. If I am missing something, please let me know, because I was very excited about that magnetic plate to maximize the number of pieces I can die cut at once and prevent as much waste of material as possible. Without the magnetic plate involved, it works fine, and it isn't really hard to roll the stacked plates through (which was my biggest concern with a manual tool). Still a good value for the money, but I hope someone will let me know if/what I might be missing with the magnetic plate! Thanks.

This was for my mother, and she has sat for hours every day using it. I bought some more dies for her, and she is addicted to this machine. At 82, she still crafts, and she can't get enough.

I was really hoping to like this machine, but it's only okay. The roller press did not press hard enough to cut through the paper on the top and bottom when I used my die. I maxed out the plates and it still did not do a good enough job. I'll have to hand carve out the pieces that didn't get punched out. I rolled it back and forth a few times, but still did not get a good cut on the ends. Bummer.
