And the eyes light up. My7 yr. Old granddaughter loved it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very cool and realistic but too big for younger kids
This is a really cool realistic mask. I took off a star because the size, its huge on all of my kids. It fits me and my husband better. Theres a chin strap that makes the mask open its mouth when you open your mouth but the chin strap is over an inch lower than my kids chin so they have to pull it with their hands to make the mouth open. It also sits too low on their face, their nose is way above the place where their nose should be, that also makes it hard for them to see out of it. When i used it it was fine. It was easy to put on, was easy to see out of, worked as it should and was comfortable enough. I do like how the eyes light up and change colors and that there's different roars depending on how big or how long you open your mouth. Id recommend this for kids at least 12 and older. My kids are 6 and 7 that i got the masks for but my 7 year old is very tall.

My oldest son has an older Jurassic mask (Indoraptor) so we got this for our younger kid and they both love it! They added digital eyes that shows the eyes blinking and can change colors to show levels of aggression. The kids love it! It fits really well on the older 8 year old but the 4 year old struggles with controlling it because it’s a bit big for him. It’s well made and has survived the durability test of an 8 year old and 4 year old so far. They really get into character with this mask!

My grandson is 4 and I ordered this for him. He loves it! But, it is a bit big for his head. He does not care! The concept of this toy is perfect for his age. He loves to engage in the imaginative play it draws him into. The sounds and lights, while can get annoying for adults, are what he loves most. He becomes a dinosaur. I teach preschool, and would love to have a few of these for use on the playground. Feels pretty durable and looks more realistic rather than cartoonish.

The media could not be loaded. Im really torn on this one. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if I could. But its just too annoying for me to give it 4 stars. And thats a shame because it is super cool at the same time.Plenty of adjustments to fit any kids head. The eye windows are very large allowing for a great field of view while still being tinted to hide their eyes.The overall look and mechanical function is top notch.The eyes are also really cool when lmthey light up.My main complaint is the volume and lack of variation.There's 3 positions of the jaw opening that triggers 3 different roars. But the positions are so close together that basically any jaw movements trigger all 3 sounds and they are lout and super repetitive. It gets obnoxious super quick. Even just a bit more variation in sounds as well as lower volume would have been a huge improvement.All that being said, the kids absolutely love it and play a variation of hide and seek hunting eachother.

Great quality — exactly what you’d expect from Mattel. I got this for my 5-year-old and he loves it. The second he put it on, he declared himself the “Dino Master” and hasn’t looked back. The color-changing eyes are such a cool feature and really add to the fun.The only small thing is the chin strap is a bit big for his size right now, but it still works and he’ll definitely grow into it. Doesn’t stop him from wearing it constantly. If you’ve got a little dinosaur fan in your house, this mask is a total win.
