I have an inground gunite pool with a pebble surface, multiple steps, benches, and shallow areas. The pool is also an odd shape.The Good:- No cord running through the pool and yard.-Smarter at navigating the pool and getting into tricky spots, but still misses some corners and can't get on some shallow shelves-Comes to the surface/edge when done-Phone app to set and track cleaning. Easy to use and get notifications when done cleaning, needs a charge, etc...-Easy and quick to hose out the basket. Much easier than my old cleaner-Plenty of battery power to clean the pool and walls in one chargeThe Bad:-The basket has coarse mesh in it. All the fine dirt, pollen, and sand are just pumped off the bottom up into the pool, making the water cloudy-When at the bottom of the pool, it can't connect to wifi, so there is no way to control itOverall, it's a great cleaner with one major flaw. Their higher-end models have an extra filter cartridge that can be inserted to get the fine dirt, so they must be aware of this major shortcoming. Considering the list price of this thing is $1600 they should have included it on this model. Even with all the good in this cleaner I strongly recommend not getting it. It took several extra weeks to get the pool clear for the season compared to my old cleaner. I would run this cleaner, which pumps all the fine dirt into the water, making it cloudy. Some gets filtered out by the pool filter but much of it just sinks back to the bottom. Potentially, their more expensive cleaners with the extra fine filter is worth trying. Stay away from this one.Review Update:After Beatbot saw the original review, they offered a full refund even though I had owned it for two months. I took them up on the offer and changed the review to reflect the outstanding service I received. It's nice to see a company do so much to make sure their customers have a good experience. I plan on giving the AquaSense 2 Pro version a try and seeing if it gets the fine dirt off the floor. Outside of this issue, it was a great machine.Final Update:I received the AquaSense 2 Pro machine. This cleaner has a double wall basket where the non-pro version does not. I had gotten much of the finer sand and dirt out of the pool already so it was hard to fully test how much better the pro version with the double basket works, but it did seem to do a better job. In addition, the pro version can dispense a water clarifier as it cleans which really works well. The pool is crystal clear. The pro version also skims the pool which I originally wasn’t interested in but now that I have tried it, I think it’s very useful. The pro also has a larger battery which seems to have plenty of power to clean the walls, floor and skim. The non-pro did seem to have adequate power but may fall short in a few years as the battery degrades. Overall, I highly recommend getting the pro over the non-pro, it’s the best cleaner I have used. It’s a lot more convenient than my old cored cleaner and does a much better job. The non pro model would be fine if you don’t have fine sand, pollen and dirt or potentially use a water clarifying additive to the pool.

The media could not be loaded. I can not say enough good things about this pool vacuum. It has saved me so much time and money. It cleans really well, so well in fact it started to pick up sand from our filter that had been blasted back into the pool by the return jets. This let me know right away there was a problem with our filter. Typically it would take some time for me to discover an issue like this as with normal vacuuming everything gets sent to waste or back into the filter.Our chlorine bill has gone down considerably due to this vacuum as well. When you don't have organic junk on the pool floor your chlorine doesn't have to work over time. The savings is significant. About $200 so far this year (half way through the pool season)The machine is well built. While a bit heavy (especially when taking it out of the pool) it is completely manageable. Most of the water is ejected out by the time out pick it up making it far easier than other brands.Wall climbing works really well which I was skeptical about. We have a vinyl liner in ground pool. We recently replaced the liner so I was worried it might damage the new liner. I have complete confidence that won't be an issue. The treads are some kind of silicone and are soft.The investment is large but after having used it for this long, but I would be willing to pay 2x the price the second time around for the time savings alone!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:FeaturesI cannot recommend this product at all! Followed all the instructions from extending Wi-Fi to my pool area, downloading the app, following calibration and setup instructions! Pool robot would not even go to the bottom of the pool, it would blow water out the top move around the water surface for a few minutes then give an error light (red). Called support several times to be able to talk to someone that spoke English well enough to even understand! After numerous calls they finally decided that the pool cleaner was malfunctioning! Then to find out that I was a couple days beyond the 30 days refund period! Finally explained that I hadn’t used it because I was waiting to get Wi-Fi to pool area. They did finally refund me for the purchase price. Seems very weak compared to the corded model that I previously owned?

I have owned this for almost a week and have ran it three times. Battery life is good 3 to 4 hours. It moves slower than some robots so I guess it is more methodical in its cleaning. Does a good job cleaning and climbing. My pool was fairly clean already, Since I just had it acid washed and the tile bead blasted. I briefly had a Wybot which was around an $800 unit that I sent back, because the runtime was so short and when it ran out, it would just die wherever it was in the pool mostly on the deep end. The Beatbot seems to do a very good job of cleaning And when it’s completed, it comes to the surface edge and floats. i’m not convinced it’s doing a great job cleaning my stairs yet because I haven’t seen it on the stairs. It seems to go around the waterline very nicely and the walls and of course the floor. It never get stuck anywhere. I do like the app it’s easy to navigate and change programs. From low battery to fully charged takes about three hours. I have three steps going into the pool and the ledge and the grotto and so far these seem to be staying clean, so it must be hitting them. I know it briefly hit them as it’s climbing the wall and cleaning the waterline and I haven’t had to brush them off manually. at this point, I would give it a 4 1/2 stars because it’s done pretty much everything I expected and has a good run time.

Very happy with this item. Have used 3 times and so far it is impressive. Has cleaned my large and deep in ground pool sparkling clean. Have used the wall and floor mode and floor only. Very user friendly and I like getting the notification that the unit is floating when the job is done!

Cleans thoroughly only downfall is that it doesn't contain the sediment.
Best Pool Investment I’ve Made!
The Beatbot is one of the best things I’ve bought for my pool. It saves me time, keeps the water crystal clear, and I don’t have to worry about scrubbing or vacuuming anymore. It’s super easy to set up and just works. Totally worth the investment!
A complete let down.....
Very disappointed with this product. When wall cleaning it flips onto it's back and dumps the filter contents back into the water. It gets stuck on the floor of the pool and the park function does not work either, which has you back fishing the cleaner out with a pole and hook. If you need a cleaner for fine sediment, this is not the cleaner to choose. While it looks like it is picking the sediment up, hours later you can see it just settled back on the pool floor in different spots. We are asking for a full refund, not willing to try this brand again.
