As stated it is a "petite" stockpot... it is very small. I love the sea salt color. It is a an enamel coated steel. It has some weight to it. It's perfect for 1 or 2 person household. The lid fits perfectly on the lipped edge of the pot. Two side handles. I love my Le Creuset cast iron and these enamel pieces. With good care, they are heirloom pieces. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I want to save other people the heartache of believing, per the description on Bolo and the product packaging itself, that this is a "casserole". In English, casseroles are baked in the oven. In French, they mean a pot or pan that can only be used on the stove. This cannot be used in the oven, only on the stove top.I needed a four-quart true casserole with ovenable lid and so I got this. When I studied the information, I realized it cannot be used in the oven, so I returned it.The price is low for Le Creuset, and as others have pointed out, they are not made in France, for the most part. This is a pretty stove top pot, only. Choose accordingly.

So far so good, love the size!! We make soups often and this is perfect for our family of 4!I was afraid the color will change with has stove but it has not yet, used it about 10 times already for about an hour or more each time.

Not a practical size for stock pot cooking, a bit too short & wide. Flame color is loud. Enamel is fragile and will eventually chip. Not made in France. Made in Thailand. You might like it, but I don't especially for the rather steep price
