I like how compact this is. It has the necessary pieces to get the job done. This pump works well for putting gear oil in my race truck rear end and for changing out the oil in the lower unit of my outboard. A gallon size freezer Ziploc bag is a great inexpensive way to store all of the components. Not sure how durable it will be long term but so far it works great and I recommend it.

well the product did the job the pump would not screw on to a quart bottle and the transfer line has mini holes in it so you have a small spray coming from those holes would not buy again

This pump is a must when changing out fluids in your transfer case or differentials. This makes it so much easier and less messy when filling them back up with fluids. I'm looking forward to trying out the "helping hand" adapter when I do my next service on my truck. It'll help secure the tip into the fill hole so there's less chance of the tube falling out and making a mess everywhere.

The "BFXM Lower Unit Gear Oil Pump for Standard Quart Bottles, 10cc Per Pump Stroke, Includes Fluid Pump, Long Fill Hoses, Rigid Suction Tubes, 3/8 inch Metal Swivel, 8mm and 10mm, 3rd Hand Adapter" arrived promptly and was just as described online. This is a light duty bottle pump that fits standard quart bottles with 28mm caps. It delivers 10cc per pump stroke and is made entirely of white plastic. The pump handle can be locked down to minimize storage height. The pump comes with two rigid dip tubes. The longer tube draws from the bottom of gallon jugs 10-inches deep while the shorter tube works with quart containers. Eighteen inches of flexible nylon tubing is enough to permit the pump to operate with one hand, safely on the ground. The primary use of this tool is to transfer oil from the wide-mouth bottle available in stores to a small opening in the side of an outboard motor. For this purpose, there is a choice of four end fittings which should cover most applications. I recommend unscrewing the upper plug and matching it with one of the adapters provided. It would be a problem if the 3/8-inch fitting were confused with the more finely threaded 10mm fitting as these fittings are steel and the outboard is soft aluminum. Proper use of the tool is covered in the owner’s manual. The primary end fitting is the 3/8" x 16 swivel adapter compatible with most American brands. Also included are the 8mm-1.25 and 10mm-1.25 adapter for use with almost all non-US outboards except Volvo Penta. The fourth fitting is a plastic tapered universal terminal for openings as large as 3/8-inch. I plan to use this economical, handy, light-duty pump to do my annual outboard transmission maintenance. This is a necessary tool for the annual outboard maintenance of my Suzuki 40hp. The extra adapters are great, since I also let my neighbor borrow this for his outboard, which he needed a different size fitting. It has worked great for both of us on different outboards. Highly recommend this quality pump
